No one is ever too old to learn or to work towards improvement.
Golf is a perishable sport. One must work on it a little bit each day to achieve their goals.

I think they’ll be 10 and 7 and in the playoffs. I know if they finish 7 and 10 Eric Bienemy will be the head coach the following year. Too much talent on this team to not win at least 10 games.

Knowledge is power but if you are afraid of challenging what you think or believe you’ll remain ignorant!

In golf knowledge is king but practice makes the swing! It’s not enough to “know”! Golf is a perishable sport that must be honed regularly if one is to have any success at all!

There is no amount of money that will be worth more to an instructor that will have more value than the smile on a child’s face when they make solid contact and the very kind words of a parent the day after the instruction letting you know how much it meant to everyone. I had more fun than they did 😎. I love this game.
“Thank you so much for yesterday. She couldn't stop smiling and went home and started practicing.”
Watching YouTube videos and taking a few lessons here and there is a terrible way to shooting par and scoring in the Low 70's consistently. Practicing without a specific STRUCTURED TRAINING strategy in these 8 categories: 1. putting, 2. finesse wedges, 3. bunkers, 4. distance wedges, 5.full swing (driver), 6. fitness (stability, mobility, flexibility), 7. course strategy, AND 8. mindset & confidence with daily feedback and qualified coaching is the correct way to becoming single digit and/or scratch.
It’s fine if you don’t want to be an accomplished low handicap golfer but if you do the above 8 steps are truly the only way to achieve that level of success.
Only a trained eye can see what you can’t see and only a qualified coach can put you in the correct positions that allow you to feel what you can’t feel. it is very rare that any truly accomplished golfer goes it alone.
There’s more than one way to hit it and no 2 golf swings are ever alike! Here we see AP2 Jeff Langston getting a perfect load onto his right side and making a good right shoulder move down towards the ball before making the perfect angle of attack by swinging out to the ball. He is maximizing every bit of his talent! He’s been my guy at Eagle Haven Golf Course since day 1 under the tutelage of the Master Bill Baldwin who’d no doubt be very proud of this swing!!!

For all of the young pros in the local area. Registration is now open:
Mr. Nick has worked really hard in the last few months! The driver instruction I provided him recently has really paid huge dividends (thanks Bill Baldwin for teaching it to me while you were here at Eagle Haven Golf Course). Here he is hitting his 2nd shot into the par 5 from 190 out. His weapon of choice was a 5 iron draw off of a slight side hill lie up through a window through the pines!!! He got down in 2 for the birdie. He shot 2 under on the back 9. We’re gonna dial in his short game here soon and there is no doubt in my mind that he’ll be scratch by summers end.
