2 years ago I made a call out
'Can you hear the Voice of Nature?'
8 international women met in February and March 2024, to set intention, to make conversation, to connect, to notice, to create, to stitch, to weave, to draw, to move, to listen.

It was a group of powerful women who answered this call, and met amomgst the trees in An Tearmann Community Gardens.

Been in a long winter and quite inactive here for the most part.
I've tended to my inner flame with a lot of much needed rest.
I feel the stirrings of spring.
As the flame rises higher...
Quietly still, a little stirring, but the fire needs more care.
Still, i can feel the gentle stretch deep within, my thoughts are on clearing space for new growth in the garden, my pen is pulling in to place some projects on the horizon.
My offerings are whispering and waiting playfully.
A glint of the joy of being in presence with other, making, sharing, connecting too with the more than human.

The year of the fire horse is upon us. Imbolg is arriving. The snowdrops are sprinkling their magic..

Horses. Heart. Creativity. The senses. New perspectives.

This journey is about presense, exploring our senses through limitation, connection, visualisation, awareness, embodiment and creativity.

We have the oppurtunity if suitable, to be in the presence of a horse in new way; a way of awareness, compassion and presence.

Then we take our experience in to the woods, the waters, the crackling fire perhaps. What would it be like to create from a limited sense?

How might we experience the natural world? What themes come up for us? How might we connect with our inner landscape?

At this time this offering is donation based and is on weekdays with 2-3 hour slots between 10am-1.00pm Monday- Thursday. 2 week notice.

I am so excited to be part this stunning collective colouring book created and illustrated by
33 conscious horsey women from around the world had their portraits done by Nixa with their horsey friend(s) and sharwd a love letter to the equestrain world which is included next to each amazingly detailed portrait on super quality paper.
Your coloured pens will love it!

We shared our stories and some symbols with Nica who drew from this in such a magical way, pulling her own symbols and weaving a connective thread through all of the portraits.

I will share more about the story of my portrait with Fiona (with Polly and Rainbow as horse medicine dolls) in later posts. My portrait is called 'Come home to your senses'.

This would make a beautiful gift.

"Put that stick down!'
"You'll poke someone's eye out!"
"They just use them as weapons."
What if, instead as a 'weapon' we think about sticks as loose parts... full of potential!
