A blast from the past. My daughter “pacing” me in at the Longmont Triathlon circa mid 80’s. 🥰

Fun day on the river with my Cedaredge “neighbors” Bre & Brandon introducing them to fly fishing. Everyone is your “neighbor” in a town of 2,500ish souls. Bre got her casting pretty well nailed, then opted for some rest in the shade on the bank for she & her “baby in the making.” And Brandon got to experience “the tug” a few times, and got his first fish on a fly to the net!

5 1/2 weeks post left (I cast right) shoulder surgery, and I’m back on the water! You might be surprised how much that left arm is necessary in day to day life. Let alone chucking flies. Don’t have the range of motion or strength to handle my net yet, but that’s what friends are for. Thanks for the net work “brother” Jeff! 🙂 Saw a few guides I know floating down the river too!

Fish of the day! This Osprey flew by me on the river with a fish in its talons. Landed on this pole to have breakfast!

Floated the river today with Brandon & Troy of M-Tech, the company I retired from. Beautiful day! Both put fins in the net! Fun times!

Don’t get caught standing on shore like an idiot. Book with to reserve a seat in my boat!
