It is with great sadness that we invite you to the funeral Mass for Karen Barreras. Please come and celebrate her life with us on June 27th at 10:30 at Little Flower Church. Her dedication to our students throughout her life is a legacy that we will never forget. Our prayers are with her family during this difficult time.

Our Open House tonight was a great success! I really enjoyed seeing former students and former families come out and support us! If you missed it, and would like a tour of our amazing new building, just come by and we would love to give you a tour!

We are working really hard to be ready for our first day of school in the new building! Back to school on Monday, August 19th!

We are saddened to hear about the passing of Alicia Nehrkorn. Her memorial service will be held on August 10th at 11am, St. Thomas Aquinas Cathedral in Reno. A celebration of life will follow at Washoe Public House, 275 Hill Street Suite 100.
Our hearts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

What a beautiful memorial today for Mrs. Douglas. She taught 2nd grade at LFS for a very long time. She will be missed. This poem was read at her memorial. Her daughter said that it was written by her students. Maybe class of 1987??? Does anyone know?
