This picture captures a moment from one of my online lessons, where I’m teaching the German verb “gefallen.” I love creating a relaxed and interactive environment for my students, whether they’re mastering tricky grammar or building conversational confidence. It’s all about making language learning feel approachable and rewarding.
Learning a new language is not just practical—it’s also so good for the brain. It improves memory, sharpens focus, and boosts creativity, all while opening up doors to new cultures and opportunities. With online lessons, you can learn from the comfort of your home, your office, or even while travelling. It’s flexible, convenient, and just as effective as in-person classes.
As a private German, Spanish, and English teacher, I tailor every session to your individual needs, whether you're tackling grammar, practicing speaking, preparing for an exam or expanding your vocabulary. We take it step by step to ensure you feel supported and confident every time.
Are you ready to challenge your brain and learn something new? Let’s get started today!

Want to give your brain a boost? Learning a new language might be the way to go.
Recent studies show that bilingualism does more than impress — it actually strengthens the brain. Through advanced brain imaging, scientists have discovered that those who speak two languages have greater connectivity between key brain regions than those who speak only one.
A study of 151 participants revealed that bilingual individuals have enhanced connections between the cerebellum and the left frontal cortex, which can lead to improved attention, better recovery after brain injuries, and healthier aging.
While the advantages are most pronounced when language learning starts young, picking up a new language at any age can increase your brain’s adaptability.
So, whether you're learning French, Spanish, or Mandarin, you're not just unlocking new cultures; you're giving your brain a workout that can benefit you for years.

Welcome to my page and thank you for visiting! 🙂 🙌
I would like to explain a little bit how my (online) lessons work:
➢ All my lessons are one on one (if you want to learn with a friend, your spouse or family no problem, we can talk about that of course)
➢ My lessons are based on the expectations the student has of the class. Therefore are customized to your needs and requirements. Every session is different!
➢ I make the class dynamic and fun so that it is not tedious with pure theory or at least I try hahaha. I use examples from everyday life and leave some (grammar) exercises to do at home
➢ I encourage my students to do homework
➢ I give valuable tips on how you can improve the language outside of the lesson
➢ I work with my own material but if desired we can work with your book
➢ My classes are designed for all levels, I am confident that you will learn the required language as I consider myself someone patient and creative when explaining the topic
➢➢ I also offer language *exam preparation courses* in all three languages! You would like to take an exam to demonstrate your language skills, I will help you prepare with many helpful tips and materials (including Cambridge English, Gothe Zertifikat and DELE)
☛ ✉ Please message me for more information and to schedule a free introduction call today. I look forward to hearing from you!

Recommendation Friday!
It is Friday already! That means it is a great time to chill on the couch and watch some movies!
As I mentioned in the previous post, watching movies in the language you are learning can not only help you practise your pronunciation but also teach you more about the culture and the different sayings people and countries that speak it have.
That is why, I am going to recommend three movies (one of each language I teach) for you to watch and enjoy during the weekend.
Comedy is one of my favourite genres and one of the hardest to understand and get used to when speaking to natives.
I hope you enjoy them and let me know which are other film titles that you´ve laughed at in any of these three languages!
1. English: “𝗡𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹” (1999)
The story is also very funny and romantic. The beautiful and complicated “love at first sight” that the characters experience is perfect for comparing the difference between British English (Hugh Grant) and American English (Julia Roberts). Some of the conversations may be fast, but also very useful for daily life dialogues.
2. Spanish: “𝗡𝗼𝘀𝗼𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀” (2013)
If you are into Mexican culture this film is a “must watch” since most of the jokes are mocking the mexican ways and the social differences they live. It is also very helpful for the accent distinction between the upper class and the lower class in some areas. Mexican humour is very sharp and easy-going, you will definitely learn from and laugh at the story of these three rich kids who are forced to work for the first time in their lives in order to appreciate the privileges they were used to.
3. German: “𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗕𝘆𝗲, 𝗟𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻!” (2003)
This movie is more than just a comedy, it is a way to get to know what more than 17 million Germans experienced at the end of the 80s and what freedom meant for them.
During such a hard time in history, Alexander´s mom, who was a proud socialist, enters into a deep coma right before the Berlin Wall is demolished. When she wakes up, Alexander tries to hide the recent events and keep her unaware of the triumph of capitalism over her beloved Western Germany.
I truly recommend this movie for the content and for the language practise.
Which other comedies have you watched in the language you are learning?
