Due to the threat of weather, all after-school activities have been canceled. Students should use their alternate dismissal method today. Please reach out to your student's teacher to ensure they are aware of how your student should get home.

Kindergarten spotted the rainbow 🌈 after theater class today. Their reactions were ✨magical✨

Today, we had our first visit with Dynamic Science Education, and just know she sent your kids home with noise makers, not us! The kids had a great time learning STEM skills in a hands-on way!

The next visit from Dynamic Science Education will be October 24, and families are invited to attend as part of our Lights on Afterschool Event!

Another glimpse into some of the activities that our Falcons do in our UPES RISE 21st CCLC after-school program. Even though we are currently full, registration is always open for K-5. The registration link is available on ClassDojo.

Can’t attend after-school? Our summer learning program follows the same type of model for students who will be entering Kindergarten through 4th grade where students spend time in reading and math enrichment activities before transitioning to enrichment activities like art, music, cooking, gardening, and STEM. All of this is over the course of 5 weeks and free for families! We provide summer transportation, free breakfast and lunch, and offer a variety of special guests.

🎃🍏 Our youngest Falcon farmers are getting into the fall spirit with a Pumpkin STEM Challenge! Using with Apple Jacks cereal, they crafted their own unique pumpkins and had a blast getting creative with this tasty twist on building!

Each month, we have a different theme. September’s theme is Falcon Farmyard: Fall on the Farm! 🐓🍂

We are excited to announce that registration for our RISE After-School Program is now open! Our program is designed to provide an engaging and enriching experience for all students, packed with fun, learning, and adventure. Join us for a bonus round of after-school activities where every day is a new level to conquer!

Who Can Join? All UPES K-5 students are welcome to register but spaces are limited.
Program Dates: August 7-May 20
Time: 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

We are thrilled to announce the winners of our "Spring into Summer" myON reading challenge! HUGE congratulations to University Place Elementary School for reading the MOST minutes across the district in EVERY grade level, Pre-K through 5th Grade!!!

We couldn't be prouder of our students for their hard work and dedication. A massive shoutout to the amazing faculty and staff for their unwavering commitment to fostering a love of reading and nurturing lifelong readers.

We can't wait to celebrate with a frozen treat!

Our amazing 21st CCLC RISE After-school students are taking on a fantastic service learning project: creating two Little Free Libraries! 📚✨ They’re working hard to select the perfect locations outside the school to share the joy of reading with our community. But we need YOUR help!
