Do you know a young person who is ready to expand their world in a new and exciting way? We have Life Skills Clubs for 12 & 13 year olds!

Our clubs give younger teens the opportunity to:

-meet once a week for 75 minutes under the direction of certified Education for Life teachers;

-explore such themes as concentration, strengthening will power, serving others, building empathy, and more;

-experience lively, highly interactive, fun, and challenging sessions;

-connect with peers from different countries who share an interest in personal development.

One of our new students, Rocco, LOVES rugby!

We are really looking forward to hearing more about Rocco's passion for this sport throughout the year. He will have many opportunities to share, not least during 'tea time' - a weekly appointment where our students meet informally to chat and share about how they are doing and about what's important to them.

This year's academic curriculum features Maths, Self-Expression and Communication, Raja Yoga, History of World Cultures, Spanish, the Joy of Chemistry, Art and... Astronomy!

Our school is grounded in the yogic wisdom of Paramhansa Yogananda, bought into a pedagogical framework through 'Education For Life' (EFL) by his direct disciple, J. Donald Walters (Swami Kriyananda).

We encourage our students to tune into the principles of maturity (considering realities beyond one's own), developing a solid relationship with themselves and their own highest potential, and using their thoughts, words and actions to make a positive impact on the world around them.

We also teach students a range of practical tool to help them navigate and make sense of and respond appropriately to their emotions, experiences and interactions on a daily basis, giving them a true education for LIFE!

Service Adventures are invaluable in allowing young people to make a difference in communities that can really benefit from their energy, enthusiasm and skills. Moreover, they give teens the opportunity to experience a taste of independence as they move into young adulthood!

Our school supports young people in achieving personal excellence. But what does 'personal excellence' look like? Well... it's unique to each individual student as each one is on their own personal journey!

Throughout the year, an ongoing dialogue is cultivated and nurtured to ensure both students and staff are aware of the journey and the goals of each individual. We work together as a team, a school community, to support our young people's growth and development into maturity, so they can outwardly blossom into the person they know themselves to be inside.

Teachers at the Living Wisdom International Online High School are trained in the student-centered method of Education for Life. (www.edforlife.org)

We build strong, supportive and empathic relationships with our students, seeing them holistically and always encouraging them to create a solid relationship with themselves first and foremost.

We teach in a way that connects with the highest potential of each student, whilst at the same time maintaining a grounded and down to earth energy in our school, reminding our students that being yourself is the key to a successful life.
