On 27th April 2026, Government Girls High School Budhal successfully organized a Mass Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) within the school premises. The primary objective of this meeting was to strengthen communication between parents and teachers, discuss students’ academic progress, address concerns, and ensure the overall development of students.
The programme commenced in the morning with a warm welcome of the parents by the school staff. The Headmaster of the institution addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of parental involvement in the education process. He highlighted that a strong partnership between parents and teachers plays a crucial role in shaping the future of students.
During the meeting, class-wise interactions were held where parents met subject teachers and discussed the academic performance, attendance, behaviour, and learning outcomes of their wards. Teachers provided detailed feedback and also suggested measures for improvement wherever necessary. Special attention was given to students who require additional academic support.
In addition to the academic discussions, awareness regarding the Nasha Mukht Abhiyan (Drug-Free Campaign) was also created among parents and students. The Headmaster and staff sensitized the gathering about the harmful effects of drug abuse on physical and mental health, especially among youth. Parents were urged to remain vigilant, guide their children properly, and work in coordination with the school to keep students away from substance abuse. The importance of building a safe, healthy, and drug-free environment at home and in society was strongly emphasized.
Parents actively participated in the discussions and appreciated the efforts of the school in organizing such an interactive session. They shared their views, concerns, and suggestions regarding teaching methods, school environment, and facilities. The school assured to consider all constructive suggestions for further improvement.
The importance of regular attendance, discipline, and a positive learning environment at home was also discussed. Parents were advised to monitor their children's studies and maintain regular contact with the school.
The PTM concluded on a positive note with mutual understanding and commitment from both parents and teachers towards the betterment of students. The event proved to be highly productive and successful in achieving its objectives.
Conclusion:
The Mass PTM organized on 27-04-2026 was a significant step towards fostering a collaborative relationship between parents and the school. The inclusion of awareness about the Nasha Mukht Abhiyan added further value by promoting a healthy and drug-free lifestyle among students. Such initiatives will continue to be conducted in future for the holistic development of students.
