Congratulations to those who endured a particularly brutal Advancement class. Five solid hours of Kung Fu training. You guys demolished it!

Been an eventful couple of weeks! An incredible thank you to Sifu Henry Chung and our guests for an excellent seminar last Saturday. There was much insightful instruction to review, and so many interesting stories from the only man who could tell them. We captured as many notes as we could!

There's a reason these three students are topping the leaderboards! They put the work in all week and then put more in Saturday morning. Come join us!

Shingen, our newest Mini-Monk, has overcome the Tiger Chamber and earned his next rank. Congratulations!

Now eyes forward! New challenges, forms, and fighting applications! Four new electives start next week: Throws and Takedowns, Nunchaku, Spear Fundamentals, and an intensive study of Bang Bou, the traditional Mantis set.

Break out the drums - this week in our Youth and Adult classes we're working on improvisation. Practice chaining combinations together and responding to your opponent's input during a fight. Get creative!

Full form review in Hand of the Phoenix tonight. We are training everything from the 7 Basics to Gung Lik Kyun. Emphasis on breathing, linking movements together, and application! If you're feeling rusty, tonight's the night to polish what you know.

After nearly 150 man hours, the students of Iron Phoenix completed a major renovation project to their training hall. Our new floors will bring energy to the atmosphere and give us a very efficient usage of training space.

We are a school built from the ground up by students and instructors. From the design of the buildings floor layout to these new floors, our students have shown what it means to have pride in their school.

Thanks to all those who came out to help, you certainly made it possible for us to get this done in one weekend!
