Prof. D. Ansu Sonii Polytechnic successfully Hosted Pre-WASSCE Seminar 2026

On May 14, 2026, Prof. D. Ansu Sonii Polytechnic hosted a successful Pre-WASSCE Seminar, bringing together over 300 12 grade students from 18 schools across Districts 16 and 17.

The seminar featured experienced WAEC Co-Examiners who guided students on examination techniques, preparation strategies, and success tips for the upcoming WASSCE.

Prof. Dao Ansu Sonii encouraged students to embrace discipline, leadership, and purpose-driven learning, while the institution’s administration provided valuable information on admissions and academic programs.

The event showed the Polytechnic’s commitment to academic excellence, student empowerment, and national development.

Student Orientation Highlights

On Wednesday, February 25 and Friday, February 27, Prof. D. Ansu Sonii Polytechnic University successfully commenced its first orientation program, with both students and faculty members in attendance.

This was more than a routine orientation; it was a meaningful moment where students were able to build connections, given the opportunity to share their stories, receive career guidance from experienced professionals with practical, hands-on expertise, and gain a clearer understanding of their academic journey toward college success.

During the orientation, students gained deeper insight into the University’s mission and vision, as well as reassurance of the institution’s full readiness to commence classes.The University showcased its well-prepared and conducive learning environment, including a standardized computer laboratory, a digitized library equipped with updated and research-focused resources, and a functional website and e-portal designed to support efficient communication, transactions, and record keeping.

Today, Prof. D. Ansu Sonii Polytechnic University held her official certification ceremony for the Five-Day Continuing Professional Development Training, which took place from February 9 to 13, 2026.

During the ceremony, we were honored to have Mrs. Florence Parker, Mayor of Brewerville City Corporation, attend in person as one of our distinguished guests. Several members of our board were also present.

A total of 107 participants registered for the training. Among them, 97 students successfully completed and received their certificates, 49 from the General Education Training and 48 from the Computer Education Training.

We sincerely thank our special guests, friends, and community members for gracing this occasion as we continue to make a positive impact in our community.

Yesterday, Prof. D. Ansu Sonii Polytechnic University successfully climaxed its 5-Day Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Training in General Education and Computer Education.

The program recorded over 100 young participants, all of whom benefited from this no-cost training. Participants from the Education class gained valuable insights into professional teaching ethics and responsibilities, classroom management, mental health awareness in schools, the teachers’ code of conduct, and strategies for establishing a safe and inclusive learning environment while participants the computer education class gained insight on basic computer concepts.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our amazing facilitators and everyone who attended and actively participated. We look forward to welcoming you again as you advance into our certification and degree programs.

Earlier today, we successfully hosted our Open House and Professional Development Seminar, where over 200 participants were introduced to our undergraduate programs (regular and promotional dsicount), 3 months Professional Development Program, and our one-week professional certificate courses, with a focus on Computer Concepts and Education..

During the program, our Founder, Prof. D. Ansu Sonii, elaborated on the school’s history and mission, offering deeper insights into the university from a holistic perspective.

Alongside the President were our administrators, who explained the enrollment process for prospective students, guided by the these three offices: Finance, Admissions, and Academics.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our founders for their continued support, as well as to our administrative staff, support staff, and professional partners for their invaluable contributions to the success of the program.

Good evening everyone

This is an open invitation to us all but most especially for out-of-high-school youths who are desirous of expanding themselves academic wise.. it is also for working professionals who would want to upgrade their skills in capacities of their respective interests.

There will be an open house and professional development seminar on the 6th of February.. This is free of charge and refreshments will be served.. please see information on the flyer..

This will be followed by a 2 week professional development program in General Education for teachers and others desirous of acquiring skills in teaching. This will be combined with Computer Education and Training.

These programs will run twice a day (Morning and Evening sessions). Admission and training are also free.. please attend and encourage others to do the same.
