Yesterday, the youth toured the Hi- Pro Feeds Headquarters in Friona! The tour started at the beginning of the process with ingredient mixing, extruded through the press, bagged, and loaded onto pallets to be shipped. Not only did they get to see the process, they learned about the nutritional and health aspects of the feeds and all the products that Hi- Pro produces. Thank you Hi-Pro for providing us with lunch and supporting our tour!

We aren’t in Del Rio but we visited Del Rio Dairy yesterday and had an amazing experience learning about the dairy industry. Youth were able to see a commodity barn, learn about dairy cattle nutrition, a rotary milking parlor. The dairy is a leader in innovation as they are capturing methane to make energy for both you and I.
