Magbigay ng salita ng mga beki! Ah, eh, ah—AVISALA! 💥

Maligayang Buwan ng Wika, mga accla! 💬🫧

Ngayong Buwan ng Wika 2026, silipin natin ang Bekibolaryo—isang munting talaan ng mga salitang beki na patuloy na ginagamit, binibigkas, at nakikisabay sa pagbabago ng wika sa Pilipinas.

Mula sa mga salitang may sariling beki twist hanggang sa mga ekspresyong naging bahagi na ng pang-araw-araw na pakikipag-usap, ipinapakita ng Bekibolaryo na ang wika ay buhay, malikhaing umuunlad, at may puwang para sa iba’t ibang tinig.

Bakit Walang Bahaghari sa Plano?

Mag-iisang linggo na mula nang idaos ang SONA 2026, ngunit nananatili ang pagkadismaya ng LGBTQIA+ community. Sa kabila ng mga pangako para sa pag-unlad ng bansa, walang puwang ang mga usapin ng pagkakapantay-pantay, proteksiyon, at karapatan ng komunidad.

Sa gitna ng patuloy na diskriminasyon, karahasan, at kawalan ng sapat na legal na proteksiyon, nananatiling hindi nabibigyang-pansin ang mga panawagang matagal nang ipinaglalaban ng komunidad, kabilang ang pagpasa ng SOGIE Equality Bill.

Hindi ito usapin ng representasyon lamang—ito ay usapin ng buhay. Sina Jennifer Laude, Bella Lutap, at kamakailan lamang ay si Betty ay ilan lamang sa mga transgender na Pilipinang naging biktima ng karahasan.

Ilang buhay pa ang kailangang mawala? Ilang kaso pa ng karahasan ang kailangang maitala bago kilalanin ang pangangailangan ng sapat na legal na proteksiyon? Hanggang kailan mananatiling nakabinbin ang SOGIE Equality Bill? Hanggang kailan mananatiling wala ang bahaghari sa plano? Dahil walang tunay na pag-unlad kung may mga buhay na patuloy na naiiwan.

Bawat taon, tumataas ang bilang ng mga kaso ng karahasan laban sa mga transgender at LGBTQIA+ community sa Pilipinas. Nakakapagod nang magluksa. Nakakatakot nang makakita ng panibagong pangalan.

Hindi dapat ikinapapahamak ang pagiging totoo sa sarili. Ang bawat buhay ay may halaga, at ang bawat biktima ay nararapat sa hustisya.

Hindi na dapat madagdagan pa ang mga pangalan.

‎Last July 16, 2026, BulSU Samot-Sari proudly participated in Camp SIKAT 2026, a 3 days leadership training that gathered student leaders and organizations from different parts of the Philippines. This seminar was conducted at B-hotel Quezon City last July 16-20, 2026. In this Seminar it discusses the importance of SBC (Social Behavioral Changes Campaign), SOGIESC Training of Trainers, Child Rights, Gender Norm Analysis and also Organizational Sustainability. This kinds of topic helps to strengthen leadership, collaboration, and a shared commitment to building inclusive communities.

‎This meaningful journey was made even more special as we stood alongside with our fellow LGBTQI+ student organizations across the Bulacan State University—BulSU Maharlika, BulSU Bahaghari, BulSU Balangay, and BulSU Bayoguin—reflecting the strength of unity, solidarity, and collective leadership across our campuses.

‎During the event, BulSU Samot-Sari was also officially recognized as a 2026 Member Organization of the SARI Network, marking another milestone in our continuing commitment to champion equality, diversity, inclusion, and meaningful representation.

Ang pagbibigay ng aral at kaalaman, gayundin ang pagiging g**o, ay hindi dapat PIGILAN sa pag-eexpress ng tunay na sarili dahil lamang sa kasuotan, haba ng buhok, o anumang anyo ng personal na pagpapahayag. Higit sa lahat, hindi dapat LIMITAHAN ang kakayahan ng sinuman na magturo at magbahagi ng kaalaman dahil lamang sa kanilang kasarian, gender identity, gender expression, o pananamit. Ang husay, kakayahan, at dedikasyon sa pagtuturo ay hindi nasusukat sa panlabas na anyo.

Ang Samo't Sari ay makikibeki laban sa di-makataong polisiya na ipinatupad ng CPTED Main Campus. Kaisa namin ang aming mga Trans sisters at ang buong LGBTQIA+ community sa mariing pagkondena sa pagpapatupad nito. Ang mga polisiyang naglilimita sa malayang pagpapahayag ng sarili ay hindi lamang nakaaapekto sa karapatan ng isang tao, kundi maaari ring magdulot ng trauma, diskriminasyon, at mga suliraning may kaugnayan sa mental health na maaaring dalhin ng mga estudyante sa mahabang panahon.

Ang isang ligtas at inklusibong pamantasan ay hindi nasusukat sa haba ng buhok o sa uri ng kasuotan ng mga estudyante. Hindi rin bababa ang kalidad ng edukasyon kung pahihintulutan nating maging totoo ang bawat isa sa kanilang sarili. Ang tunay na sukatan ng isang mahusay na institusyong pang-edukasyon ay ang kakayahan nitong lumikha ng espasyong may paggalang, pagkakapantay-pantay, at pagtanggap para sa lahat.

Walang masama sa pagiging ikaw. Hindi hadlang ang pagkakaroon ng mahabang buhok, pagsusuot ng makeup, o malayang pag-eexpress ng sarili sa pagbibigay ng aral at kaalaman. Ang edukasyon ay dapat maging daluyan ng paghubog ng isip at pagkatao—hindi ng diskriminasyon at pagtatakda kung sino lamang ang karapat-dapat magpahayag ng kanilang sarili.

𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗮𝗻. 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻. 𝗜𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴.

Hindi kasuotan ang problema. Hindi haba ng buhok ang sukatan ng propesyonalismo. Ang tunay na isyu ay ang mga polisiyang naglilimita sa dignidad, pagkakapantay-pantay, at karapatang maging totoo sa sarili.

In the recently concluded 𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗔𝗚 2026, a leadership training event for student organizations across the external campuses of Bulacan State University, Samot-Sari has once again been officially recognized as a student organization for Academic Year 2026–2027.

This marks our second year of recognition, and we couldn't have reached this milestone without every single one of you. Thank you to everyone who believed in and supported Samot-Sari, especially the people working tirelessly behind the organization.

As we begin Year 2, let's continue to spread our wings, aim higher, and create a safer and more inclusive community for all. 🪽

Today, we celebrate International Drag Day, recognizing the artistry behind drag, the power it holds, and the message it brings to each one of us. More than dazzling performances and glamorous looks, drag is a form of resistance, storytelling, and empowerment that has inspired countless people to embrace their authentic selves, challenge societal norms, and celebrate diversity through creativity, courage, and self-expression. It reminds us that authenticity is something to be celebrated, never hidden, as every performance reflects courage, passion, resilience, and unapologetic artistry.
