Eaton’s English Academy

I had the privilege of conducting a 4-hour intensive General English seminar for the A/L students of Gurulugomi Maha Vidyalaya — with an incredible participation of over 400 students. 🎤📚

The session focused on clarifying key areas of the General English paper, strengthening exam strategies, and building confidence for the upcoming examination. It was truly a dynamic learning environment filled with enthusiasm, curiosity, and active engagement. ✨

My sincere appreciation goes to ESoft Metro College – Kalutara, especially Mrs. Gagani Tilakarathna , for inviting me to conduct this seminar, and to the two supporting lecturers for ensuring everything ran smoothly. Heartfelt thanks also to the Principal and the students for the warm welcome and cooperation.

I am grateful for the opportunity to share my knowledge and contribute to students’ academic development on a large-scale seminar platform.

Teaching is one of the few professions where you witness growth — not just in others, but within yourself. Feeling so grateful and proud as I wrap up the Introduction to Linguistics module with my wonderful B.Ed TESL students at First Friends Campus, Colombo. 🌿

This module has been such a rewarding experience — from exploring the fascinating world of language and how it works, to engaging in thought-provoking discussions and activities. The students were truly amazing — enthusiastic, curious, and so supportive throughout the journey. Their passion for learning made every session enjoyable and meaningful. 💬📚

Teaching has always been more than just a profession to me — it’s my passion and a part of who I am. I genuinely love what I do and find so much joy in exploring different areas of English through the subjects I teach. Each module brings something new to learn, reflect on, and grow from — both for my students and for me as a lecturer. ❤️

Another successfully completed Cambridge C1 Level Diploma in English batch at ACBT, and I’m excited to share a little glimpse of our journey together. 💙
I’m truly feeling so grateful as I look back on the past 8 months of teaching these wonderful students. It was such a meaningful and joyful experience — they weren’t just my students; they became like family. 💫

It was a great honor to have been invited as a judge for the Reading Mind English Festival by Mr. Kelum, the visionary behind the Best Trainer Academy.

I would like to congratulate all the talented students who participated, as well as the winners, on their amazing achievements! It was truly difficult to give marks because you were all so talented.

Everything was beautifully organized, which ensured the program ran smoothly. Wishing Mr. Kelum and his team continued success in conducting such inspiring programs in the future. As educators, it is our duty to motivate students, guide them, and keep them on the right track, and this event was a wonderful example of that mission in action.
