IEEE Computer Society Bangladesh Chapter (CS BDC) happily announces the Call for Award Nominations for the year 2021 in the following categories:

1. Best CS Student Chapter (period of activities: 1/1/2021 to 31/12/2021)
2. Best Promising CS Student Branch Chapter (SBC approved no earlier than 1/1/2021. Period of activities: 1/1/2021 to 31/12/2021)
3. Best CS Student Volunteer (period of activities: 1/1/2021 to 31/12/2021)
4. Best Advisor (period of activities: 1/1/2021 to 31/12/2021)
5. Best SPARK Volunteer (period of activities: 1/1/2021 to 31/12/2021)

Nominations must be sent to the committee by fulfilling the following criteria:

A. The application deadline is 13 January 2022, 12:00 BST
B. For individual applications, self-nomination will not be acceptable.
C. The individual nomination must be supported by a Nominator.
D. Individual category applicants should provide their best 3 activities and Chapter category applicants should provide their best 5 activities during the considerable period and also provide a list of achievements/awards during this tenure(if any)

All the accepted and presented papers will be published in the “Lecture Notes on Data Engineering and Communications Technologies” book series which is indexed by SCOPUS [Approval received from Springer].

Greetings from the IEEE Computer Society Bangladesh Chapter. Hope this email finds you well.

After tremendous planning and efforts, IEEE CS BDC Winter Symposium 2021 is going to be organized on 13-14 November 2021.

The detailed schedule is attached herewith and is also available at the symposium website at https://site.ieee.org/bangladesh-cs/ws2021/.

In the Symposium, there are 15 different sessions on the emerging tracks.

The Symposium will be inaugurated by Professor Mohammad Kaykobad, Professor of CSE, BUET; Distinguished Professor, CSE, BUET. MIDAS-2021 aims to promote and provide a platform for researchers, academia and practitioners to meet and exchange ideas on recent theoretical and applied Machine and Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences research.
