"Christmas is a gift to all of us! It is a gift of joy. Let us spread and Greetings of joy, love and peace to all of us!" pass it on as swiftly and as sincerely as we could to as many as we could reach. But this joy is a unique kind of joy that does not come from our material possessions nor from our shallowness. It is a kind of joy that emanates from our stories of how we continue to have faith in the face of challenges and struggles. It is the joy that gives hope and meaning to one's self and to others' lives. It is a kind of joy that springs from our endurance of hardships which links us to each other with a sense of meaning and purpose. This is the story of the of faith Joy of and hope amidst wita Christ poming bround us and in the world.
Christmas is love Love is not to be defined but to be felt, treasured and shared. With love not to be generosity and sensitivity or mindfulfulness of others sitomens gen conditions. Love is putting oneself in the shoes of another in whatever we do. If they say that love is in the air, let me add to this that love is in our actions carried by the wind with the melody of service to the people and not greed that robs people, especially the deprived and the underserved of the dignity of life.
Christmas is peace. Yes, peace is elusive. But the season of Christmas gives us the opportunity to bond together, celebrate and reflect. But peace is indispensable to a joyful and loving life. There is happiness if we love and be loved. There is peace if we rejoice in the victories, achievements and successes of others, for after all we all make up humanity.
Joy, love and peace all begin with ourselves. But let us spread them. Let us all help together in celebrating Christmas not just by the usual habit of greetings and exchange of pleasantries but by sharing our stories and listening to others' stories of joy. Let our actions speak of our genuine love for the depressed, deprived and the Snderserved in our society Amidst our celebrations let us not forget the victims of wars, in their and greed that have driven then to poverty and robbed them of their dignity of life. to poseason of Christmas 2023d may invite each one to write his or her own story of joy stories that ece and share them to its his o hesten no to others' stories that we may see a world full of here joy and peace.
Have a wonderful world of Christmas! Thank you.
