Vaasa DJ School starts again!
Our beginner course starts on Monday 27.3 at Sky in Rewell from 17:00-19:00.
VDS is for music enthusiasts of all ages who want to learn something new.
You will learn the basics of DJing step by step, e.g. how electronic dance music is structured,
how to beat match and how to mix.
The course consists of 12 lessons 2 hours each over 6 weeks.
The price of the Course is €150, if you cancel the course before the 3rd lesson, only €30 will be invoiced.
Together, we have over 30 years of knowledge and experience in DJing.

The first beginner's course of the year starts on Monday 6.2 at Sky in Rewell from 17:00-19:00.
VDS is for music enthusiasts of all ages who want to learn something new.

The course consists of 12 lessons 2 hours each over 6 weeks.

Från och med tisdagen den 17 Oktober startar vår Dj grundkurskurs på SKY.
Kursen är till för alla musikintresserade som vill lära sig grunderna i DJ:ing,
den till för både nybörjare och för de som har tidigare erfarenheter.
Om du pratar Svenska, Finska eller Engelska spelar ingen roll, vi pratar alla 3 språken.
Kursen kommer att hållas måndagar från 17:00 och är 2 timmar per tillfälle, Kursen är totalt 6 veckor.
Här kommer du att få lära dig följande.

1. "Press Play" (Introduktion)
-Du får bekanta dig med utrustningen och veta vad en dj egentligen gör i dj båset.

2. "Jogging" (Beatmaching)
-Hur man gör för att få 2 låtar/beats att gå i samma takt.

3. "Taiming is everything" (Låtens struktur Phrasing)
-Här går vi igenom hur elektronisk dansmusik är uppbyggd och hur du räknar för att göra korrekta byten mellan låtar.

4. "The third track" (Mixning och EQ)
-En dj mixer är instrument som man måste lära sig att använda för att kunna spela flera låtar samtidigt.

5. "Can you do something cool?" (Kreativt Mixande)
-När grunderna sitter så kan man börja vara kreativ i sitt mixande,
här lär du dig hur man använder t.ex. effekter, loops och phrasing för att skapa någonting nytt.

6. "Keeping it nice and tidy" (Musikbibliotek och Dj Mjukvara)
-Det är viktigt som dj att ha sin musik organiserad och förberedd, här går vi igenom hur man använder olika dj programm.

Kurspriset är 150€ och kommer att faktureras efter andra lektionen.
Om man vill avbryta kursen så debiteras endast 30€ (om kursen avbryts före den 3:dje lektionen).

Kurssi on tarkoitettu kaikille musiikista kiinnostuneille, jotka haluavat oppia DJ-taiteen perusteet.
Kurssi on tarkoitettu sekä aloittelijoille että kokeneemmille harrastajille.
Ei ole väliä puhutko ruotsia, suomea vai englantia, puhumme kaikkia kolmea kieltä.
Kurssi pidetään manantaisin klo 17:00 alkaen ja oppituntien kesto 2 tuntia ja kussin konaiskestoon 6 viikoa.

1. "Paina Play" (johdanto)
Pääset tutustumaan soittimiin ja miksereihin ja oivaltamaan mitä DJ todella tekee DJ-kopissa.

2. "Kolmas kappale soimaan" (miksaus ja taajuuskorjain)
DJ-mikseri on instrumentti, jota sinun on opeteltava käyttämään, jotta voit soittaa useita kappaleita samanaikaisesti

3. "Voitko tehdä jotain siistiä?" (Luova miksaaminen)
Kun perusasiat ovat kunnossa, voit alkaa olla luova miksauksessasi,
täällä opit käyttämään mm. tehosteita, silmukoita ja lauseita luodaksesi jotain uutta.

1. "Musiikkikirjaston hallinta" (musiikkikirjasto ja Dj-ohjelmisto)
DJ:nä on tärkeää, että musiikkikirjastosi on järjestetty ja esivalmisteltu, tässä käydään läpi eri ohjelmistojen käyttöä.


Kurssin hinta on 150 € ja laskutetaan toisen oppitunnin jälkeen.
Jos haluat peruuttaa kurssin, veloitetaan vain 30 € (jos kurssi peruuntuu ennen 3. oppituntia).

The course is for anyone interested in music that wants to learn the basics of DJing,
it's for both beginners and those with previous experience.
It doesn't matter if you speak Swedish, Finnish or English, we speak all 3 languages.
The course will be held on Mondays from 17:00 and it's 2 hours per occasion, The course is a total of 6 weeks.
Here you will learn the following.

1. "Press Play" (Introduction)
-You get to familiarize yourself with the setup and know what a DJ actually does in the DJ booth.

2. "Jogging" (Beatmaching)
-How to make 2 songs/beats go at the same tempo.

3. "Taiming is everything" (Song structure and Phrasing)
-Here we go through how electronic dance music is structured and how you make correct transitions between tracks.

4. "The third track" (Mixing and EQ)
-A DJ mixer is an instrument that you have to learn how to use in order to play several tracks at the same time.

5. "Can you do something cool?" (Creative Mixing)
-When the basics are in place, you can start being creative in your mixing,
here you learn how to use e.g. effects, loops and phrasing to create something new.

6. "Keeping it nice and tidy" (Music Library and Dj Software)
- It is important as a DJ to have your musiclibrary organized and prepared, here we go through how to use different DJ softwares.

The course price is €150 and will be invoiced after the second lesson.
