- With 13g of natural sugar, apples can be an excellent alternative to coffee. They will wake you up better than coffee, with none of the caffeine jitters.
Imagine staying up all night doing homework and having to get up at 7 a.m. the next day to make it to your 8 a.m. class. You're going to fall asleep, so you stop by a cafe on your way to class to pick up something to keep you awake. Would you prefer a cup of coffee or an apple?
The rumor that apples have more caffeine than a cup of coffee is a myth. Apples contain no caffeine. But it is true that apples can also help people stay awake. Apples contain more sugar than a normal cup of coffee does, sugar triggers blood flow, hence making you feel awake.
While coffee can help you wake up faster, an apple is a more healthier option. It is neither addictive nor harmful. Caffeine addiction and negative effects such as restlessness and irritability can occur if consumed daily. So, the next time you're tired, pick an apple instead!

-Bed bugs are one of the oldest known species, and have been around since the dinosaur era, but they managed to survive the extinction.
Bedbugs emerged over 100 million years ago, when dinosaurs still controlled the Earth, according to a new study by an international team of researchers, making them twice as old as entomologists previously thought.
Where did bed bugs originate?
Human-parasitic bedbugs have long been thought to have developed from bat ectoparasites. New fossil-calibrated phylogenetic study, on the other hand, places their debut at 115 million years ago, before the CretaceousโPaleogene mass extinction and 30 million years before the first bat fossil records.
I or we just can't believe that they really survived the dinosaur extinction ๐ฅฒ

-Hummingbirds are the only birds that can fly backwards.
Hummingbirds can fly up and down as well as forward and backwards because they have a rotator cuff (a supporting and strengthening component of the joint) that allows them to move their wings in a figure eight motion.
