Say vs tell

Say နဲ့ tell လို့​ပြောတာနဲ့ သူတို့ဟာ irregular verbs ​တွေဖြစ်တယ်ဆိုတာရယ် သူတို့ရဲ့ past tense "said နဲ့ told" ကိုပါသိထားသင့်ပါတယ်!
Both are irregular verbs.Their past tense are said and told.

🖇Say: to express something using words.
say /said ကိုသုံးရင် ဘယ်သူ့ကို​ပြောတယ်ဆိုတာမလိုပါဘူး။
🖇Tell: to give information to a person.
tell/told ကိုသုံးရင်​တော့ ဘယ်သူ့ကို​ပြောတယ်ဆိုတာလိုပါတယ်။

For example 📝

▪️I said that their new house is beautiful.
▪️I told them that their new house is beautiful.

▪️Did he say how it happened?
▪️Did he tell you how it happened?

▪️I said that I would meet him onSunday.
▪️I told him that I would meet him on Sunday.

What is formal and informal language ?

ဒီတစ်ခါမှာ​​တော့ formal and informal language ဆိုတာ​လေးကိုအကျဉ်းချုပ်ပြောပြသွားမှာပါ။

📌 Formal language
▪️Use when writing for professional or academic purposes like university assignments or job application.
▪️Use when talking to elderly or person who are higher than you in ranking such as your teacher, professor or your boss.
▪️Formal languageကို​တော့ ကိုယ့်ထက်အသက်ကြီးတဲ့သူ​တွေ ၊ ဆရာဆရာမ​တွေ ၊​ပါ​​မောက္ခ ဒါ​မှမဟုတ် ကိုယ့်အထက်အရာရှိ​တွေနဲ့​ပြောဆိုတဲ့​နေရာ တွေမှာသုံးကြပါတယ်။

စတာ​တွေရေးတဲ့အခါ​တွေမှာအသုံးပြုပါတယ်။
Formal language မှာ contraction ​တွေမသုံးပါဘူး - l'll လို့မသုံးဘဲ I will လို့သုံးပါတယ် ။

📌 Informal language
▪️Casual and spontaneous ရင်းရင်းနှီးနှီး၊ ​ပေါ့​ပေါ့ပါးပါး ချက်ချင်းတုန့်ပြန် ပြောဆိုခြင်းကိုဆိုလိုပါတယ်။
▪️Use with friends or family both in writing and in conversation.ကိုယ့်မိသားစုဝင်၊သူငယ်ချင်း၊လုပ်​ဖော်ကိုင်ဘက်၊ အသိမိတ်​ဆွေတွေ့နဲ့​ စကား​ပြောတာ​ရော၊စာ​ရေးတာနှစ်ခုစလုံးမှာအသုံးပြုပါတယ်။

📎Lend - ငှားရမ်းသည်
give something to someone for a short time, expecting that you will get it back later.
