Let’s hear it for Wallace Ware!

Wallace was celebrated at last week’s Board of Education meeting for his incredible growth academically, socially, and emotionally.

If you’ve been around Torringford, you know Wallace is basically our local mayor—everyone knows his name and his smile brightens the whole school.

Big congratulations to Mr. Larry Gross, Torringford School’s Golden Apple Award recipient! 🍏✨

Larry consistently goes above and beyond to ensure our students thrive and that parents are empowered partners in their child’s learning journey. He has a true gift for translating complex clinical information into clear, parent-friendly updates and treatment plans—perfectly bridging the gap between home and school.

Whether he’s walking the hallways with a student, helping someone learn to ride a bike, or navigating the stairs, Mr. Larry is always there with a helping hand.

Our students have been absolutely pawsome lately, and they just scored the ultimate reward!

To celebrate their hard work and excellent behavior, these superstar students laced up their sneakers for an exclusive basketball game against Superintendent Wilson and the Director of Facilities, Dean Pergola.

It was an unforgettable recess of fun, fast breaks, and fantastic sportsmanship.

Congratulations to our winner, Joshua Weir and his teammate, Austin Coelho!

Mrs. Giampaolo and Mrs. Deloy’s WINN students recently completed an independent research project on a topic of their choice. As they researched, students explored the Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How connected to their topics. They worked incredibly hard to gather information, stay organized, and present their learning. It has been wonderful to see their curiosity, independence, and enthusiasm shine through this project. We are so proud of all their hard work and the growth they have shown!
