Edukimi Medial – Fake News

OJQ Education +, në bashkëpunim me Shoqatën e Grave të Shërbimi Korrektues i Kosovës, organizoi “Edukimi Medial – Fake News” në American Corner Prizren, i udhëhequr nga gazetari profesionist z. Fisnik Minci.

Qëllimi i seminarit ishte vetëdijesimi i stafit për edukimin medial, me synim përcjelljen e njohurive te anëtarët e tjerë të Shërbimit Korrektues, si dhe te të burgosurit dhe të miturit, për të luftuar dezinformimin.

As part of the "Integrated Computer Center in Kosovo Prisons" project, young offenders and correctional staff from the Lipjan Educational Correctional Center visited several key educational and cultural institutions in Prizren.

💻 At Makerspace Innovation Center Prizren, they explored technology tools, co-working spaces, and innovation-based learning.
💡At ITP Prizren – Innovation and Training Park, they learned about sustainability, entrepreneurship, and development projects.
🎨 At Autostrada Biennale (Hangar), they discovered how contemporary art promotes social dialogue.
📚 At Biblioteka Prizren, they toured the space and learned about its role in rehabilitation and lifelong learning.
🏛️ At American Corner Prizren, they engaged in a digital session on micro:bit technology for youth empowerment.

Additionally, Shërbimi Korrektues i Kosovës staff used this opportunity to establish valuable connections with partners for future cooperation and support.

Prison Education!

We gave successfully held the third activity within the 'Integrated Computer Center in Kosovo Prisons' initiative at the Lipjan Educational Correctional Center for Juveniles at Shërbimi Korrektues i Kosovës.

Through interactive English language exercises organized by teacher Ergin Gashi, the juveniles developed their communication, teamwork, and creative thinking skills. This project is generously supported by the U.S. Embassy Pristina, Kosovo and administered by Kosovo United States Alumni - KUSA."

Together with teachers Agona Vorfaj, Dorinë M. Rakaj and Sihana Tashkerani, we held a second engaging English language session at the Lipjan Educational Correctional Center for Juveniles under Shërbimi Korrektues i Kosovës.

Through interactive games such as Magical Banana, Broken Phone, and various entertaining activities, the youth had the opportunity to creatively learn and practice English.

This session is part of the 'Integrated Computer Center in Kosovo Prisons' initiative, generously funded by the U.S. Embassy Pristina, Kosovo and administered by Kosovo United States Alumni - KUSA.

Recently, we have successfully launched our first activity for the "Integrated Computer Center in Kosovo Prisons" initiative at Lipjan Juvenile Correctional Center at Shërbimi Korrektues i Kosovës
Facilitators Besart S. Osmani from American Corner Prizren and journalist Fisnik Minci engaged young offenders with topics including Coding, Social Media Algorithms, Fake News, and introductory 3D technology and robotics (Maqueen & mBot).

This initiative is generously funded by the U.S. Embassy Pristina, Kosovo and implemented by Kosovo United States Alumni - KUSA.
