InstaBuilt will participate in the Forum 2026: From Linear to Circular - Rethinking Construction in Kosovo, organized by the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Prishtina and the Kosovo Green Building Council - KGBC on May 15, 2026.

Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between Insta Innovation Center and the Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts

Insta Innovation Center (IIC), represented by its Founder & CEO Mentor Pllana, has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts, represented by its President, Academician Justina Shiroka-Pula.

This strategic partnership marks an important step toward fostering innovation and development in the Republic of Kosovo by bridging academic excellence with industry needs. The collaboration is built upon the Triple Helix model (Academia–Industry), aiming to create a shared development platform that connects research with real-world impact.

Through this partnership, Insta Innovation Center and ASHAK will focus on:

• Developing joint research and innovation projects
• Organizing events, hackathons, and collaborative programs
• Facilitating knowledge and technology transfer
• Supporting initiatives for sustainable and economic development
• Empowering the ASHAK Young Academy and strengthening its role in research and innovation

Yesterday, our CCO, Diedon Kica, represented InstaBuilt at Kosovo Business Day 2026 in The Hague, where he showcased how our integrated ecosystem is reaching global scale by solving local bottlenecks.

The housing deficit is no longer a local issue; it is a global crisis:
- The Netherlands is currently facing a shortage of over 400,000 homes.
- Traditional construction methods are stalled by the Nitrogen Crisis, making on-site work legally and environmentally difficult.
- Industrialized innovation addresses these bottlenecks by moving construction into a controlled, integrated off-site manufacturing ecosystem, drastically reducing on-site nitrogen emissions and minimizing local disruption.

In addition to this synergy, such systems are faster, more efficient, and deliver stronger returns on investment.

Kosovo has proven itself as a true hub for "Real Estate + Construction + Innovation + Technology" investments, and we will continue to foster this through Pllana Capital and Insta Innovation Center by providing platforms for investors, partners, and suppliers to create synergies that power global exports.
