AAC – Educationusa Kosovo Alumni Talk

We were happy to welcome in this virtual session our CPC alumna Anes Demirovic, currently a student at the Columbia University. During the session, he shared his experience as an international student in the U.S. He also gave our College Prep Club students a glimpse into her day-to-day life on campus and challenges, offering valuable insights and inspiration.

AAC - EdUSA Kosovo Corner Established at Gjimnazi "Dr. Shaban Hashani "- Ferizaj

The American Advising Center (AAC) - EdUSA Kosovo has officially established a new EdUSA Corner at Gjimnazi "Dr. Shaban Hashani" - Ferizaj. During a recent visit, AAC adviser met with the school representatives to discuss the importance of promoting educational opportunities in the United States and supporting students interested in international academic pathways.

The newly set-up AAC - EdUSA Corner is now fully operational within the school and features a dedicated space equipped with a bookshelf containing a variety of college advising and standardized test preparation materials, including resources for the TOEFL and SAT exams. These materials have been generously donated by AAC - EdUSA Kosovo and are accessible to students, teachers, and others interested in pursuing studies in the United States.

College Prep Club students and Ms. Mary Kate - Fulbight /ETA Teacher celebrated in the spirit of Freedom250 with a fun Trivia Quiz and Pizza Day! Students tested their knowledge, enjoyed some friendly competition, and shared great food while celebrating together. 🍕🎉

At Gjimnazi Shoqeror - Ferizaj, the American Advising Center provided students with an overview of the opportunities available for studying in the United States. Topics ranged from how to apply, financial aid options, to the immersive cultural experience of being an international student.

Students from IAAP Hoxhe Kadri Prishtina- Fushe Kosova had the opportunity to meet with the American Advising Center staff for a presentation about studying in the U.S. They learned about university admissions, scholarship possibilities, the structure of U.S. education, and the unique cultural experiences awaiting international students.
