As a Learning Management System Administrator you will be engaged in:
• Creation of Teaching Training and Learning Material (TTLM) for hybrid learning content for the curriculum of Industrial Mechatronics Technology
• Ensuring that learning content is embedded within the IT infrastructure/LMS of the Institute of Science and Technology
•Collaborate with applicable stakeholders for the day-to-day operational support of the LMS (Learning Management System)
• Procurement of ready-to-buy/off-the-shelf solutions for hybrid (a healthy combination of e-learning and conventional learning) learning content of the curriculum of Industrial Mechatronics Technology
• Integration of selected Unit of Competencies into the teaching plan of the Industrial Mechatronics Technology curriculum
• Advice on Human Resource concepts
• Training of new and existing staff on using the LMS
• Beta-testing of learning materials
• Coaching and mentoring activities for the successful adoption into practice of the hybrid learning concepts.

People interested to apply should have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or (Learning) System Administration
• Proficient knowledge in English
• 5 years of professional experience in setting up/programming, customizing and maintaining LMS
• Team skills

Specific qualifications an interested applicant should have are:
• 3 years of professional experience in working with moodle-based platforms
• 2 years of experience in the digitalization/hybridization of learning materials/processes/products.

As an Industrial Mechatronics Technology Content Developer you will be engaged in:
• Providing technical expertise in the Kenyan curriculum of Industrial Mechatronics Technology
• Drafting and/or cross-checking hybrid (a healthy combination of e-learning and conventional learning) learning concept for Industrial Mechatronics Technology
• Integration of selected Unit of Competencies into the teaching plan of the Industrial Mechatronics Technology curriculum
• Creation of Teaching Training and Learning Material (TTLM) for hybrid learning content for the curriculum of Industrial Mechatronics Technology
• Procurement of ready-to-buy/off-the-shelf solutions for hybrid learning content of the curriculum of Industrial Mechatronics Technology
• Ensuring technical quality and relevance to the industry of the overall hybrid learning approach and learning materials
• Training of new and existing staff according to the curriculum of Industrial Mechatronics Technology
• Beta-testing of learning materials
• Coaching and mentoring activities for the successful adoption into practice of the hybrid learning.

• 5 years of experiences in Industrial Engineering
• 5 years of experiences in the training of companies/industry stakeholders in the field of Industrial Mechanics/Operations/ Electronics

Specific qualifications an interested applicant should have are:
• 5 years of training experience or work experience in Africa, of which 4 years in Kenya
• 2 years of experience in the creation of or working with digital/hybrid
learning formats/material.

As a Digital Content and Capacity Developer you will be engaged in:
• Facilitation of workshops and events
• Design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of capacity development measures
• Stakeholder management (definition of main stakeholders, organization of meetings, regular information of TVETA/TVET CDACC on the status quo)
• Defining a hybrid (a healthy combination of e-learning and conventional learning) learning concept for the Industrial Mechatronics Technology curriculum
• Advice on human resource concept for a Institute of Science and Technology
• Capacity development for Institute of Science and Technology stakeholders, including change of management and pedagogical training
• Integration of Unit of Competencies into the teaching plan of the Industrial Mechatronics Technology curriculum
• Creation of (moodle-based) Teaching Training and Learning Material (TTLM) for hybrid learning content of the curriculum of Industrial Mechatronics Technology
• Procurement of ready-to-buy/off-the-shelf solutions for hybrid learning content of the curriculum of Industrial Mechatronics Technology
• Coaching and mentoring activities for the successful adoption into practice of the hybrid learning.

• Masters’s degree in Management or Education
• Proficient knowledge in English
• 5 years of experience in the education (pedagogics, adult learning) sector
• 2 years of management/leadership experience as project team leader or manager in a company

Specific qualifications an interested applicant should have are:

• 5 years of training experience or work experience in Africa, of which 2 years in Kenya.
