🇼🇸 **Celebrating Samoa M***i Day at VBS!** 🇼🇸

Today our school was filled with colour, creativity, culture, and pride as students and staff came together to celebrate Samoa through our special M***i Day! ❤️💙🤍

From traditional attire and cultural designs to creative costumes and Samoa-inspired superheroes, it was wonderful to see everyone proudly showcasing what makes Samoa so special. Our students truly embraced the spirit of celebration, community, and identity.

A huge fa’afetai to all of our families for supporting the day and helping our students participate with such enthusiasm and pride. The effort, imagination, and cultural appreciation on display made the day incredibly memorable.

We are proud to celebrate the beauty, strength, and uniqueness of Samoa as we lead into Independence celebrations this weekend. 🇼🇸✨

On Wednesday, our Preschool enjoyed a special visit to the Samoa Fire and Emergency Services Authority as part of our whole-school learning about emergency situations, including earthquakes, tsunamis, and fires. It was a valuable opportunity for our little learners to see firsthand what to do to stay safe in an emergency.

We would like to sincerely thank the Samoa Fire and Emergency Services Authority for always welcoming our preschool children and taking the time to teach them about fire safety in such an engaging and meaningful way. We truly appreciate your support in helping keep our community informed and prepared.

Just a reminder that there will be no school tomorrow and Monday due to Teacher Only Day and Mothers day long weekend.

On behalf of our staff, we would also like to wish all our mothers a very happy Mother’s Day weekend. We’ve even shared with the students that the best gifts don’t have to be expensive—sometimes the best idea is a quiet morning, breakfast in bed, or a nice shoulder massage! Hopefully they take our advice 😊
