The USP Tongan Student Association (TSA) had the honour of meeting His Majesty King Tupou VI of the Kingdom of Tonga, our USP Chancellor, during a fellowship gathering yesterday evening alongside the Tongan families and community in Samoa.

The gathering provided a special opportunity for His Majesty to personally meet each family and share words of encouragement. His message to TSA students was both simple and inspiring:

"Study hard and be successful so that one day you can return and serve Tonga."

Please note that the official programme for the Independence March will commence at 6:15am. All students are kindly requested to arrive at Malaefatu Park by 5:30am or earlier.

For residential students on campus, the bus will depart from the USP gate at 5:15am sharp. Please ensure you are at the gate on time to catch the bus.

It is important that everyone arrives early to avoid traffic congestion and any delays.
