NOTICE TO ALL PARENTS AND GUARDIANS
RE: POSTPONEMENT OF TERM 3 START DATE
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Warm greetings from Saint Peter Chanel Community Primary School.
Following the live announcement made by the CEO of the Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC) on Facebook, please be informed that Term 3 will not commence next week as initially scheduled. This decision comes in response to the recent outbreak of Dengue Fever in Samoa.
As our school is located in the Faleata 1 District, we are required to follow the Ministryβs directive. Therefore, students in Year 1 to Year 7 will not attend school next week. However, teachers will be preparing home-based learning materials for all students in these year levels for the week.
Only the Year 8 class will begin next week, with adjusted school hours from 9:00 am to 12:00pm.
We will continue to monitor updates from the Ministry of Education and will notify all parents of any further developments and the next steps for Term 3.
We kindly ask for your continued cooperation and support in ensuring the health and safety of our children and community.
Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
Kind Regards
Sr Monika Vaipuna
(School Principal)
