SolFa Music Samoa is a Pacific-led music organisation. We blend classical training with island soul.

We educate, empower, and inspire through strings, voice, and performance—preserving culture and creating new sounds for the next generation.

At the National Feminist Forum hosted and facilitated by Brown Girl Woke, Solfa was welcomed to present some thought-provoking issues in the form of music, poetry and movement.

On Day 2 we performed My Mother Was Not Schooled. A poem written by NUS Pro Chancellor Letuimanu'asina Professor Dr Ema Kruse-Va'ai and choreography by our own President and multi-disciplinary artist, Rosa-Vitilesaualofaoleola Solomona.

One of our other main partners in almost all our projects is the National University of Samoa. At the well-facilitated and greatly-impactful National Feminist Forum by Brown Girl Woke, SolFa presented Fayjane Leituala and her original piece on what it means to be a modern Samoan woman grounded in her Samoan roots. Currently a first year Arts Major and Performing Arts Minor - Fayjane exudes her confidence as a solo artist and the portrayal of her narratives.

We celebrate the NFF for warmly encouraging and welcoming our young artist Fayjane, whom we all support and look forward to seeing more of.

Following our Fealofani 2026 concert last week, we would like to leave a special post for our sponsors for the event. Without your trust in us, the dreams of building a sustainable music conservatory and helping towards a healthy music industry would be impossible.

Faafetai tele lava to you all for your trust and support, may we all flourish and help to make Samoa a better place.
