SMALL BUSINESS OPERATIONS II SEM 1 Update | Taxation & Compliance 💹📊

Yesterday, the Ministry of Revenue delivered an insightful presentation on taxation and compliance for our SBO II class this semester. Participants gained valuable knowledge on tax obligations, compliance requirements, and the importance of being tax registered in strengthening their business operations.

Understanding taxation and compliance is essential for businesses as it promotes accountability, supports sustainable business growth, and ensures businesses operate within legal requirements. It also helps entrepreneurs build credibility and better manage their financial responsibilities.

Last week, our SBO II participants successfully completed a three-day First Aid Training in partnership with the Samoa Red Cross Society.

As part of the SBO II Course, this training helps strengthen our students’ business knowledge while also emphasizing the importance of workplace safety; equipping them to respond to unexpected situations with confidence and quick thinking.

We sincerely thank the Samoa Red Cross Society for sharing their expertise and delivering such valuable and practical training to our participants.
