The official launch of the Samoa System Transformation Grant Project marks a significant milestone for Samoaโ€™s education sector and our shared commitment to strengthening quality, equity, and long-term impact across the system.

Funded by the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), this transformative initiative reflects a collective vision to build strong foundations today that will lead to prosperous and inclusive futures for all learners in Samoa. The leadership of the Ministry of Education and Culture together with the wider Education Sector, demonstrates a clear commitment to system-wide reform and sustainable change.

We acknowledge UNESCO for its vital role as the Grant Agent, providing technical leadership and oversight to support effective implementation and alignment with national priorities.

Samoa Education Network Incorporated was honored to attend this important launch as a GPE-funded partner under the Education Out Loud (EOL) program and as a member of ESAC. SEN is proud to be part of the implementation process, contributing civil society perspectives, community engagement, and accountability to ensure that reforms translate into meaningful outcomes for learners, families, and educators.

This launch is not just the beginning of a project, but the strengthening of partnerships, shared responsibility, and collective action. Together, we look forward to advancing quality foundations that will enable Samoaโ€™s education system and its people to thrive now and into the future.
