🎉 Congratulations to Our Plumbing Graduates at MELSISI Central Pentecost! 🎉

Yesterday 10/06/25 marks a proud moment for all of us as we celebrate the successful graduation of our latest cohort of plumbing students. Their hard work, dedication, and perseverance have paid off — and now they step forward as skilled professionals ready to serve your communities and the nation.

This achievement would not have been possible without the strong collaboration and support of our valued partners. We extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to:

1- The Water Department, for not only supporting the training but also offering upcoming contracts that our new graduates will undertake — a real step toward empowering local skills and building stronger, more sustainable infrastructure.

2- Vanuatu Skills Partnership (VSP) and APTC/Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PAS), for their ongoing commitment to upskilling Ni-Vanuatu through practical, high-quality training pathways.

3. The Penama Provincial Education Office, Penama Skills Center, and CPIAA, for their coordination and support throughout this journey.

4- Our dedicated Training Provider, who has played a vital role in delivering the technical skills and hands-on knowledge required in this essential trade.

5- And to all community leaders, families, and supporters, thank you for standing behind our students every step of the way.

This is more than a graduation — it is a celebration of community empowerment, local capacity-building, and the bright future ahead for Pentecost and beyond.

Once again, congratulations to all our graduates! We look forward to seeing their skills to make a real impact in our communit and across Vanuatu.

Tankyu tumas, and best wishes on your next chapter.

On behalf of ACOMVETS, I would like to sincerely acknowledge and express our deepest gratitude to all our core partners who have contributed to ACOMVETS over the past five years of our registration period.

A special thank you to APTC and VSP, our main partners, for your invaluable support. Your contributions—ranging from financial assistance, resources, tools, and equipment to skills development for our staff and pathways for our students—have been instrumental in our growth. Your continued commitment through our MoU is greatly appreciated.

I am pleased to inform you that during the VQA meeting on February 27, 2025, the VQA Board approved ACOMVETS' External Review Report and awarded us a Quality Status of ADEQUATE. Additionally, the Board has acknowledged the new enrolments selected by the Examination Office and has granted us a six-month grace period, from April to August 2025, to address the identified issues and submit our application for registration renewal.

We deeply regret that we were unable to achieve a Quality Status of GOOD, but we remain committed to making the necessary improvements. ACOMVETS respectfully seeks your continued support as we work towards meeting the requirements for our new registration.

Thank you for your unwavering partnership and dedication to our shared goals.

Through our collaborative partnership with APTC, we aim to invest in the professional development of our staff, enhance training to promote skills, and provide resources to ensure quality education.

In March 2025, APTC donated Hospitality training facilities to ACOMVETS to support the Quality of delivery at ACOMVETS.
