Animated Literature is an array of unique characters looking forward to joining you at your next, School Event, Birthday Party, or Special Occasion. Our characters specialize in motivating children to enjoy powerful literacy. Visits are paced to keep the kids reading from start to finish. Animated Literature is located in Atlanta, Georgia. However, we are a mobile company that travel all around Georgia ($25 and up mileage fees apply outside of metro). We attend childcare centers, summer school programs, after school programs, private and public schools, churches, birthday parties, and special events. Education
Animated literature firmly believes in an interactive educational experience first. Animated Literature was started by educators, one administrator and two Georgia pre-k teachers. Animated literature posses over twenty years in education and the mental health field. Programs are based upon years of research and early childhood education experience, that is why we offer both excellent academic programming as well as a variety of enrichment programs to our children. Matter of Heart Animated Literature is extremely proud of our proprietary curriculum, we realize that how children learn is as important as what they learn and encourage each child to achieve success while acquiring invaluable social skills. Our services are broken into three separate stages (beginning, intermediate, and advance) based on age and development beginning with little learners and progressing. Guiding Positive Behaviors (Evident based curriculum)
The Guiding Positive Behavior kit is specifically designed for use by mental health clinicians, school counselors, behavior specialists, home visitors, and others working with young children and other children who experience difficulty with social interactions. The materials are derived from the evidence-based work of our Al’s Pals: Kids Making Healthy Choices program and use many of the same strengths-based strategies to foster young children’s resilience. The developmentally appropriate materials equip adults to teach children to:
express their feelings in appropriate ways
self-regulate
care about others
establish positive relationships
cope in healthy ways
brainstorm ideas
solve problems
practice social skills in a natural environment with guided support
The easy-to-use flip book has engaging activities ranging from discussion to games, music, and role play that help children gain key behavioral and social-emotional skills. Tips are provided for integrating the concepts into ordinary interactions, helping children incorporate these positive skills into their everyday social behavior. The kit also includes a calm down poster, a problem-solving poster, a music CD of original Al’s Pals songs, and a set of stickers with messages that reinforce skills like making friends, taking turns, and accepting differences.
