Hello, parents! 👋💛

I’m Teacher Willa, an ESL teacher with 26 years of experience teaching young learners in international schools and English centers abroad.

I created English Explorers Online to provide fun, engaging, and meaningful English lessons for children ages 4–12—where learning feels like an adventure! 🌎✨

Through stories, songs, phonics, games, speaking practice, and interactive activities, children will:

🏅 Medal Monday

This medal comes with a plot twist and a learning moment. 😂

Usually, I give myself 3–4 months to train for a half-marathon. I follow a plan, slowly build my mileage, work on my pace, and aim for a better time.

And honestly? It worked. 😌

From struggling to finish my first 21K, I went on to finish my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th and hit the goals I set for myself. 🏃‍♀️💪

But this time…

Wake up early? Negotiation failed. 😂
Sunday L*D? 10K feels like a full marathon.
Weekday run? 3K and I’m suddenly very satisfied with my life. 🤣
Motivation? Currently unavailable. Please try again later.

And the weirdest part?

This is NOT me.

I usually love training. I love seeing the numbers improve. I love having a goal to chase.

But lately, my body says, “Girl, sit down.”
And my brain says, “You know what? She has a point.” 😂

So, why am I feeling this way?

Maybe it’s physical. Maybe it’s mental. Maybe I’ve just been running on empty.

So yes, I got another medal. 🏅
But this time, the bigger lesson might not be about pace, distance, or PRs.

It might be about figuring out my WHY again.

And THAT story… we’ll talk about next time. 😉🏃‍♀️

Did I train properly? Also nope. 🤡

New runners: TRAIN HARD.
Because “I’ll just wing it” is NOT a training plan. 😂💀

Today was my 3rd time participating in the “Run to Share” charity event, supporting children in difficult circumstances in the local community.

I truly wish the province would host more events like this, bringing the community together while making a difference in the lives of others. ❤️

And the best part? It was a trail! 🌿⛰️ That made the experience even more adventurous and memorable.
