𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐈𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤?

As a Vietnamese language center for expats, we understand the fears many learners have when studying Vietnamese: pronunciation, tones, grammar structure,... And honestly, we get it. At first glance, Vietnamese can look intimidating. But after teaching for years, we can confidently say this: Vietnamese is much easier than you think, just not in the way people expect.

One of the biggest advantages of Vietnamese is that there is no verb forms. There is no past, present or future tense in the way many Western languages have. You can simply add time words like "đã, đang, sẽ" if needed. This means learners don’t have to memorize long grammar tables or worry about irregular verbs.

Meanwhile, Vietnamese grammar is also very straightforward and logical. Sentences usually follow the natural order of how people think: who does something, what they do, where it happens, and when it happens. You don’t need complex sentence structures to express basic ideas. If you can think it, you can usually say it in Vietnamese without twisting the sentence around.

And of course, tones are the part that scares most V-learners. Yes, Vietnamese has six tones, and at the beginning they can sound confusing. However, tones are not random. They follow patterns, and with enough listening and practice, your ear starts to recognize them naturally. More importantly, Vietnamese are very good at understanding context. Even if your tone is not perfect, people usually understand what you mean and are happy to help.

Another thing learners often love is Vietnamese pronunciation. In general, Vietnamese is quite consistent: words are pronounced almost exactly the way they are written. Once you learn the alphabet and sound combinations, you can read signs, menus, and messages surprisingly quickly. Many students tell us they feel real progress every single week - and that feeling is very motivating.

Finally, you are never learning Vietnamese alone. Everyday life in Vietnam becomes your classroom. At EZPZ, we understand how challenging it can feel at the beginning and that’s why we are here to support you throughout your Vietnamese learning journey. We help you stay motivated, gain confidence, and break through language barriers step by step. With the right guidance and encouragement, even a simple Vietnamese sentence can become the start of a real connection.

From teachers' perspective, Vietnamese is not “easy” in the sense that you master it overnight. But it is accessible, practical and deeply connected to daily life. If you are learning Vietnamese to live, work or truly connect with people in Vietnam, you may find yourself enjoying the language more than you expected and one day realizing that it is no longer scary at all.

😎Learn Vietnamese in a "mordern, updated Gen Z way" with EZPZ.

🙉Have you heard of this combination, for example "đẹp điên" or "hay điên" from the young generation? Do you feel confused at first as you thought "điên" only means "crazy" and what you thought would be "crazy" in the sentence doesn't make any senses?
👉Then let EZPZ unlock this mystery for you. We use this word after the adjective, instead of our normal "rất" or "quá" to express how you feel ~ Isn't that pretty cool???
🥸Now, here is a small exercise which you can try to practice/say them in Vietnamese to impress your "young" local friends, your partners or basically just want to sound not boring:
1. How do you say this movie is crazy interesting in Vietnamese?
____________________________________________________
2. How do you say that exercise is crazy difficult in Vietnamese?
____________________________________________________
3. How do you say the ticket is crazy expensive in Vietnamese?

Hello everyone,
🧐It's the beginning of November, and many of us are already excited for a cozy Christmas season filled with joy alongside our loved ones, friends, and family. If you're unsure where to go during this holiday season, why not visit St. Joseph's Cathedral in Hanoi or the Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral to experience the local Christmas atmosphere? Now, let’s join EZPZ in learning a little about the history of these two churches:
✅St. Joseph's Cathedral in Hanoi was inspired by and is said to have modeled its architecture after the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. Construction began in 1884 and it was inaugurated on Christmas Day in 1887.
✅Meanwhile, the Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral was inaugurated in 1880, initially named the State Church (L'Église de la Ville). Subsequently, in 1895, two bell towers reaching 57.6 meters high were added. Later, in 1959, a statue of the Virgin of Peace (Notre-Dame de la Paix) was installed in the square in front of the cathedral. From this point forward, the church was officially known as the Notre-Dame Cathedral.
🥸It is clear that both cathedrals are typical examples of Catholic architecture from the French colonial era and play a significant role in the cultural and religious history of both cities.

🥳Stop searching for the right Vietnamese course. We don't just teach words; we immerse you in the culture. Ready to start your journey? Message us today to book your spot!
