Dear Immigration Department in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, greetings, my name is Joseph Scott Arnold. I'm an American tourist in Vietnam. I like Vietnam. I love Vietnam. I came to Vietnam to visit Vietnam. I love this country. I love the culture, environment, people, rice, coffee, noodles, beach, sand, people, music, language, history, the lives, children, adults, the food, the dragon fruits, other fruits, bananas, tea, the family atmosphere, the places, the cities, the things, the traditional Vietnamese dresses, the smiles on people's faces.



Can I live in Vietnam longer, please?



I love Vietnam. I want to extend my visa. I like living in Vietnam. I love Tet, the Lunar New Year. I love the holidays in Vietnam. I love the trees, animals, cats, dogs, birds, and everything.



I tried to extend my visa many times. I tried to extend my visa before my visa expired. I tried many times to extend my visa. I went to different travel agencies to extend my visa but they did not extend my visa. They promised to extend but then they did not extend my visa. I had to wait a week or more for each travel agent. I gave them money and I gave them my passport. I wait for many days for them to help me with my visa. They said they can help me. They ask me for money. But then they ask me for more money.



I like Vietnam.



But I have a problem with my visa.



I do not know what the problem is.



Please help me. I am confused. I am sad. I love Vietnam. I do not know what to do. Please give me advice.



I went to the Tuan Travel Agency on Pham Ngu Lao, Q1 HCM, near Highland Coffee Shop. They took my money. I went to them on Friday, the 4th of December 2015. They promised and guaranteed a visa extension. I extended my visa 2 times with them with no problems.



I went to Tuan before my visa expired.



2015-12-04, Friday, gave Tuan my visa. They went to extend it. I gave them money that morning. But then they called and said that immigration wanted more money.



2015-12-09, Wednesday, visa expired.



2015-12-11, Friday, Tuan called and said they can't extend my visa.



I got my passport back and began to think about it.



Tuan said that I'm on a black list or maybe I am doing something illegal or maybe I should go to immigration or the embassy or the consulate or to Cambodia or to other travel agencies, agents, or something.



Tuan also said that I could go to the police as well.



But that scared me.



I didn't know what to do.



I didn't understand and still don't understand why they couldn't tell me what the exact problem is.



They did not tell me what I did wrong or why I can't extend.



After that, I went to Chi Cafe. Waited a week or two for them but they didn't extend my visa.



After that, went to Thuy and they couldn't help me either.



The next week, I tried Vu but they could not help after 2 or more weeks of waiting for them.



I went to many different travel agencies.



I talked to different Vietnamese people and foreigners alike.



I emailed people and went to different websites.



Different people talked about different solutions for me but I am not sure which is true and which is not true.



I don't know what happened.



I want to write more about Vietnam.



I want to explore Vietnam more.



I want to explore Vietnam more.



I want to share this country with the world.



People talked about different prices for visas or extensions.



Some say maybe 40 million VND. Others say maybe 100 million. That worries me. how moch money does it cost to solve this problem?



What is the problem?

I think I will go to the immigration department in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam today and ask them questions.

You can print out the bit coins and that stops hackers or anything or anybody from being able to hack your money if it is just a paper in your wallet or an encrypted file in your computer or a thumb drive that can stay offline.

Bit coins is the future.

If you invest into computer money, you will be profiting.

I encourage you to do it.

Bit coin is not the stock market.

It is better than that.

It is safer than that.

I told people Trump would be President for 8 years in 2016.

Now, I am saying that computer money will continue to increase in value for the next twenty years or more while the dollar (USD) and other currencies die.

There are two kinds of addicts in the world. There are dependent and independent addicts.

This means that their addiction is sponsored from their independence or dependence. We grow up dependent on parents, guardians, friends, normally, and they are our enablers at least to some extent and in some ways. As we grow up, we begin taking on more responsibilities and freedoms. Sadly, if we become too dependent or addicted to addictions or habits or people or places or other things, then we become stuck and we should probably give up our independence and freedoms in those situations.

If you are an independent drug addict, for example, you should give up as much of your independence as you can to a person or to people that can help you in a clinic or a house or whatever.

If you are a dependent drug addict, then you are probably dependent on enablers. Normally, enablers enable drug addicts to continue using.

If the drug addict is dependent, then they are probably dependent on the wrong people because those people are probably enabling and helping or allowing or not stopping the addicts and addictions and everything.

Regardless of whether the addict is dependent or independent, he or she should change the environment and give up freedoms.

If you have a problem with drinking and driving, then you should give your car keys to a responsible person. This is an example of giving up freedoms for the sake of recovery like that from AA, Alcoholic Anonymous, as in 12 step recovery and recovering programs.

Fat people are food or fat addicts and they need to give their money to people that can become like their parents.

If you have a problem, then get help. Find people that will help you. Find people that will stop you and say no to you when you do a bad thing or a thing you do not want to do or what you should not do. here is an update on my life: my job: freelance English tutor at coffee shops: my night classes stopped and that means free time for me at night: you can register and join our classes and clubs

sometimes, I teach a group and sometimes I teach only one student per class; the class will last maybe a month or maybe a year or as long as the students want to learn & practice English speaking, conversation, which children can normally do & master fluently faster but in which young adults desire in order to get a better job and more money, a promotion, and some people want to work for international companies, like banks, and some people become their own employers, like a boss, and the one thing that helps people succeed in life is confidence and that is one thing that helps people spread their wings and fly and it takes one to know one and success is the rainbow at the end of the storm and you can find it from your own passions because that is how it works and nothing works better

I told you about Obama staff and workers, like over 80% of the Obama people did not stop working early this year of 2017 and Trump people re supposed to start to work for Trump but that is not happening and Obama has a house like a mile from the White House and Trump does many things to bring jobs and money to America and to Amerticans of the United States and many great things are happening and the fake news media and mains tream media continues to lie all about it and we knew and have known Trump since like the 1970's or longer and his family and he has been famous for over the past 40 years and have been consistent and millions of people globally can trust in Trump because he has been around for a long time



And they might say Trump makes more sense when he talks now than he did before and I disagree and I think you can understand him if you take the time to understand Trump more and I told you how the bigger governments or companies take over smaller companies and news medias and TV channels and newspapers and radio stations and magazings and many things especially like in the 1980's and especially in the USA when there were over 50 news companies in the 1980's but that went down to about 4 or 8 in the 1980's and those bigger companies controlled the smaller companies they bought and many things have been happening and it affects us all in good and bad ways



I would not go to the fortune teller because I want to experience life and my life and my future and fate and destiny like I experience a movie and movies and films and TV shows and series and many things and everything where I experience the life and love and then share it with others and that is the meaning to life and love and it all and it makes it all bearable and everything



We started class in the middle of March like maybe a few days or more before April 2017 and we have had classes 2 hours per day and 3 days a week for the past 11 weeks since Monday, the 13th of March 2017, and this the end of our 11th week.



We skipped a few days but you paid for 2 and a half months.



A CEO told you to call him back when your English is better or good enough and you said you are still not ready yet and can learn more directly from a tutor or one on one class or session or private class like the ones we had and it is more effective and productive than bigger classes.

Before talking about coffee, I was hiding in the water room and did not see you and then came up later and we went to the meeting room and had some black coffee and then added sugar to the coffee. You asked me if I wanted some coffee with my sugar syrup. That was a good joke.

Some employers, like you, learn English and make a lot of money like more than the average Vietnamese like maybe a thousand dollars a month or more and these kinds of entrepreneurs are trying to make even more money like maybe ten times more money.

We talked about coffee and I talked slower at times for your other staff man who was there. Later on, I mentioned about my conversation with my bank student who works at a bank and I talked about what we talked about the previous night. I've had these kinds of conversations before but it might be different now for me because I might be ready to do some things differently.

I might try to focus more on older students who are making more money and can pay me more money per hour or month. I asked my student about that. I asked why would they want to learn if they are already making a lot of money. He said it is because they want to make even more money. Of course, I know these things but I sometimes forget it or I sometimes need to or want to hear other people say these things to me and remind me of these things again and again sometimes and it helps me understand that and some of these things better or at deeper levels or something.

You told me to say something or to leave short comments on pages and groups where I can compliment a product or company or give some kind of feedback to them and say hello and say thank you or something nice to them and I do not really need to advertise or advertize or market at all or market too much to them and that they will come over and learn more about me and go to my Facebook to find out more and contact me if need be that is if they really want to.

I am mentioning some of these things rather quickly right now and I could probably say more if I wanted to be more specific of the details and everything and I may write more about it and I think it is good to know but I will start with this for now as a quick outline and summary of my life and I am trying to focus more on older students and that may be my priority even as I have taught children in the past at times and I have had all kinds of students of different ages and levels and everything.

But we did talk about these things a bit.

But we mostly talked about coffee and you were teaching me how to smell the coffee and you want me to learn how to describe the coffee more specifically and there is the differences between temperatures of even like two degrees like 230 Celsius (C) or Fahrenheit (F) and one like 228 and others hotter and colder.

The coffee brewing machines must stop immediately from cooking and heating and it must begin to cool the beans and the center or core of the beans continue to heat and cook even as it begins to cool more so on the outside of the coffee beans.

I am still learning how to smell the differences between sour and sweet and bitter and other flavors or tastes or odors (smell) that coffee may have and coffee might taste or smell like toast or fruit (fruity) or other things too.

Maybe added too much sugar.

I kind of forget all of the words we may have said in regards to coffee and the things we talked about before talking about me and my life with the things I may or may not want to do in my life in teaching older students in order to make more money and stuff.
