We are thrilled to share that students from SELab had the honor of presenting their research at the prestigious ACM Asia CCS 2025 conference in Hanoi, Vietnam! ACM ASIACCS is an annual scientific conference, sponsored by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). According to the 2023 statistics from the Computing Research and Education Association of Australasia (CORE) and the 2025 Google Scholar Metrics, ACM ASIACCS is ranked A, belonging to the top 10 most prestigious and influential conferences in the field of information security and cryptography worldwide.
At the conference, our students presented two outstanding papers at the SCID workshop (Security-Centric Strategies for Combating Information Disorder).
The first paper, "Enhancing Medical Chatbot Reliability: A Multi-Step Verification Approach to Prevent Hallucinations", was presented by Tran Trong Nghia and Nguyen Minh Nhat. This research explores methods to enhance the reliability of medical chatbots, with a focus on preventing hallucinations.
The second paper, "A Hybrid Model for Generalizable Deepfake Detection via Blending, Semantic, and General Artifacts", was authored by Le Phan Minh Khoa and Le Minh Hoang. This paper introduces a hybrid model for detecting deepfakes, combining semantic analysis and general artifacts to increase the accuracy and generalizability of deepfake detection.
Both papers were developed under the supervision of MsC. Do Trong Le.

Bài báo đầu tiên, "Enhancing Medical Chatbot Reliability: A Multi-Step Verification Approach to Prevent Hallucinations", của sinh viên Trần Trọng Nghĩa và Nguyễn Minh Nhật.
Bài báo thứ hai, "A Hybrid Model for Generalizable Deepfake Detection via Blending, Semantic, and General Artifacts", của sinh viên Lê Phan Minh Khoa và Lê Minh Hoàng.
