☘️ To be honest, I think of myself as a pretty low-key student. However, I have a massive sense of curiosity and never hesitate to ask questions whenever I encounter something new.
Whether in class, at corporate workshops, or during group meetings, my friends always joke that they are terrified of my favorite question: "But why?". Yet, that question helps me deeply understand the core knowledge, project goals, and individual expectations to find the most suitable direction.
☘️ My study approach can be summarized as "read more and ask more." While I am not naturally a heavy reader, I realized that deep-diving into Canvas materials gives me a much clearer understanding than just listening to lectures. Every time I finish a reading, I motivate myself by knowing I am 1% better than yesterday.
I also keep a close eye on market trends and always ask myself: “Why does the textbook say this, but reality looks completely different?”. Bringing these real-world questions to my lecturers at Swinburne Vietnam HCMC has rewarded me with priceless industry insights that no textbook could ever cover.
☘️ Looking back, I started university with mostly Credit grades. Instead of giving up, I analyzed my mistakes to improve in the next units, gradually moving up to Distinction, High Distinction, and now, Best Performance.
I am nowhere near a genius, and my background is ordinary. I simply choose to learn from failures. I believe if you just focus on doing your best with a sincere heart, everything else will eventually fall into place.

✨ When starting each unit, my ultimate goal is never about titles, but rather creating high-quality projects with practical value and strong personal creativity. Therefore, winning two Best Performance awards last semester was a completely unexpected surprise to me.
I am passionate about exploring new technologies and optimizing problems through creative thinking. Although this requires a lot of time and energy while balancing my role as Head of R&D at ITeaLab, I always consider it a worthy investment in my personal growth.
✨ To manage this workload, I choose to apply project management principles directly to my studies. From analyzing the syllabus and requirements at the beginning of each semester, to planning tasks through time-blocking, managing risks, and even tracking personal performance data, I try to approach studying as if I were managing a real project. I even designed and developed my own personal management application to better track my workflow and productivity.
Beyond academic knowledge, Swinburne Vietnam has given me an environment that values practicality, innovation, and global thinking. More importantly, it has helped me become more confident in applying what I learn into real-world projects and continuously refining my skills through feedback from lecturers and peers.
✨ If you ever feel stressed or burnt out on your journey, do not hesitate to pause for a few days to rest and refine your methods. After all, a sustainable personal growth system does not require you to be outstanding or relentlessly hardworking; it should give you the motivation, excitement, and joy on the very path you are walking.

🤖 As a Computer Science student, I closely match the IT stereotype of being an introvert, yet I can comfortably socialize when needed. In daily life, I am quite easygoing, but when it comes to work and academics, I demand high standards and strict precision, especially in group projects.
My secret weapon for maintaining a streak of High Distinctions and capturing the Best Performance last semester is the DevUp framework: Dilemmas - Experiment - Valuation - Unlearn - Performance. Instead of studying just to complete assignments, I focus on identifying problems, applying knowledge through projects, reflecting on what I lack, and continuously improving from there. Besides, I also believe a well-prepared submission not only reflects your attitude toward learning, but also leaves a stronger impression overall.
🤖 From that mindset of long-term investment, I believe AI can help you code faster, but only a solid foundation can take you further. That also a small piece of advice for those in the same major is to never underestimate your core foundation.
In this era where AI is taking over, the rise of Vibe Coding has led many to abuse AI tools without actually understanding the underlying system architecture. This shortcut will negatively affect your long-term growth.
🤖 To me, true growth requires grit, just like the quote that motivates me every day: "The road to heaven feels like hell. The road to hell feels like heaven." There is a unique joy in finishing a day with a completely exhausted body, because that is exactly when I know I have earned another piece of the future I want to build.
