Speaking of the future:

We use future simple (will + V0) when we decide at moment if speaking:
“Do you want to go to the bar after work?”
“Yea, I*’ll go*.”

We use present continuous (am/is/are + V-ing) to talk about plans:
“I*’m getting* drinks with some co-workers tonight.”

We use present simple (v1) for something scheduled:
“Happy hour *starts* at 5.”

‘Because’ and ‘so’ are conjunctions that join two sentences.

‘Because’ gives a reason:
Ender was happy because his students were paying attention in class.

‘So’ expresses a consequence:
The students were paying attention in class *so* Ender was happy.

Rule #1 in all my classes is ‘Be kind’ rather than ‘be nice.’ Here’s why.

Being nice just means to be polite to people. Being kind means caring about them.

beat: to hit someone or something many times with your hand, a stick etc

beet: a vegetable that sugar is made from

exercise: physical activities that you do in order to stay healthy and become stronger

exorcise: to force evil spirits to leave a place by using special words and ceremonies
