Trường Đại học Điện lực chính thức công bố kết quả tuyển chọn sinh viên tham gia chương trình trao đổi sinh viên tại Quảng Tây, Trung Quốc năm 2026.
Xin chúc mừng các sinh viên đã chính thức trở thành thành viên của GX26 - đại diện cho một thế hệ sinh viên EPU năng động, tự tin và sẵn sàng hội nhập quốc tế. Chương trình không chỉ mang đến cơ hội học tập và trải nghiệm môi trường quốc tế, mà còn là dịp để các sinh viên kết nối, giao lưu văn hóa và lan tỏa hình ảnh sinh viên EPU tại Trung Quốc.
Trong quá trình tuyển chọn năm nay, Nhà trường đã nhận được nhiều hồ sơ chất lượng cùng những phần thể hiện ấn tượng tại vòng phỏng vấn. Do số lượng chương trình có hạn, kết quả cuối cùng được lựa chọn dựa trên tổng thể năng lực, tinh thần tham gia và mức độ phù hợp với định hướng của đoàn GX26.

Electric Power University (EPU) is pleased to announce the selection of 03 students from the Faculties of Electrical Engineering, Control & Automation, and New Energy to participate in the “Shanghai Summer School 2026” hosted by Shanghai University of Electric Power (SUEP), China.
🔹 Program period: 26 June – 13 July 2026
🔹 Theme: “Intelligent Energy & Power Innovation: Artificial Intelligence Enabling Energy Sustainable Development Practice”
🔹 Language: English
🔹 Benefits: SUEP will support tuition, accommodation, meals, and academic activities in Shanghai. Participants are responsible for their international travel expenses, insurance, and visa/immigration procedures.

Study Opportunities at Leading Universities of the Russian Federation
On the morning of 27 March 2026, Electric Power University (EPU) hosted a working session with representatives from leading universities of the Russian Federation. The meeting provided an opportunity for EPU to introduce its academic programmes, faculty strengths, and development orientation, while opening up prospects for future cooperation.
Following the session, more than 100 EPU students attended a seminar at Hall B1 on study opportunities at Far Eastern Federal University, Ural Federal University, and Kazan Federal University. Students received information on academic programmes, admission requirements, and scholarship policies, and also had the chance to interact directly with university representatives.
Through this event, EPU continues to strengthen international cooperation in education and research, while creating broader opportunities for students in learning, research, and professional development. EPU will continue expanding international partnerships to create more opportunities for students in the new era.

Electric Power University joins MGIMO University Day in Hanoi
On the morning of 26 January 2026, Electric Power University (EPU) participated in the MGIMO University Day program held at the Russian Science and Culture Center in Hanoi. The event aimed to strengthen academic exchange and education cooperation between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
At the program, EPU delegates and students joined counselling and information sessions, interactive activities, and academic sharing. Cultural elements were also incorporated, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere for participants.
Through this event, EPU continues to expand international cooperation and promote learning opportunities for its students.

EPU Congratulates the Lao PDR on the 50th Anniversary of National Day
On November 24, 2025, a delegation from Electric Power University (EPU), led by Dr. Chu Viet Thuc – Head of the Department of Research Management and International Cooperation, visited and extended congratulations to the Embassy of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic in Vietnam on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of Lao National Day (December 2, 1975 – December 2, 2025).
During the meeting, Dr. Chu Viet Thuc reaffirmed that training high-quality human resources for Laos, especially in the energy sector, has always been an important mission of the University. He also expressed hope that the Lao Embassy will continue to support and strengthen cooperation with EPU in the coming time.
Ambassador Khamphao Ernthavanh expressed her appreciation for EPU’s long-standing contributions to human resource development in Laos, particularly in electricity and energy, and affirmed her commitment to further enhancing cooperation between the two sides.
EPU has been training more than 100 Lao students at both undergraduate and master’s levels across various scholarship programs. Many Lao alumni now hold key positions in government agencies, institutes, universities, and companies in Laos, making significant contributions to national development.

🇻🇳🤝🇨🇳 EPU Strengthens Ties with Shanghai Dianji University
On August 12, 2025, as part of the working trip to Shanghai, an Electric Power University (EPU) delegation led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Dinh Ngo – Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of the University Council visited and held a working session with Shanghai Dianji University (SDJU).
Welcomed by Ms. Gong Siyi – President of SDJU and leaders from various faculties, the two sides exchanged insights on training, research, and technology transfer, identifying many shared strengths in electromechanics, automation, intelligent manufacturing, AI, and semiconductor technology. They agreed to explore cooperation in areas such as joint research and collaborative training programs, faculty and student exchanges, academic conferences and workshops, and co-publication of international research.
The EPU delegation also visited SDJU’s state-of-the-art laboratories, gaining valuable ideas for future collaboration. The meeting concluded with consensus to soon sign an MOU, marking a step toward a strategic, sustainable, and comprehensive partnership.

🇻🇳🤝🇨🇳 EPU Deepens Strategic Partnership with China Huadian Engineering Co., Ltd. (CHEC)
An Electric Power University (EPU) 🇻🇳 delegation led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Dinh Ngo visited China Huadian Engineering Co., Ltd. (CHEC) 🇨🇳 to discuss expanding cooperation in research, training, and technology transfer, with a strong focus on renewable energy and smart technology.
Welcomed by CHEC leaders, the delegation toured the company’s traditional hall, biomass material lab, robotics lab, AI and BESS facilities, and a distributed energy plant. Both sides agreed on key initiatives, including building a CHEC-equipped lab at EPU, developing training programs for high-quality human resources, cooperating on government-level projects, and creating internship opportunities for EPU students.

🇻🇳🤝🇨🇳 EPU and BUPT Explore New Avenues for Cooperation
On August 8, 2025, a delegation from Electric Power University (EPU) 🇻🇳, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Dinh Ngo – Meritorious Teacher, Secretary of Party Committee, and Chairman of the University Council, paid a working visit to Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) 🇨🇳. Joining the delegation were representatives from Hong Lam College and EPU’s faculties of Natural Sciences and New Energy.
The EPU team was warmly received by BUPT’s leaders and senior faculty members. In an open and collaborative atmosphere, both sides shared overviews of their universities, discussed potential cooperation in scientific and technological innovation, and identified priority areas such as intergovernmental projects, development of technical standards, establishment of joint laboratories, and collaboration in publishing academic journals in Chinese and English.
As part of the visit, the delegation toured BUPT’s exhibition hall, where they explored the university’s outstanding achievements in research and technology, gaining valuable insights into its capabilities. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to strengthen ties and work toward practical, impactful joint programs in the near future.

International Student Herelier Félicien Successfully Completes Study on the Effect of Loading on Pile Behavior in Hanoi Soil Conditions
During his 4-month internship at Electric Power University, under the dedicated supervision of lecturers from the Faculty of Mechanical, Automotive, and Civil Engineering, Herelier Félicien has successfully completed his research topic: "Effect of loading on the behavior of pile in a constitutive model of soil—case of Hanoi condition."
The study applied Mohr-Coulomb and Hardening Soil models and included theoretical research, Plaxis 2D/3D simulations, and analysis to support civil engineering practice, contributing valuable insights for foundation design in Hanoi’s soil conditions.

🇻🇳🤝🇰🇷 New Steps in EPU – Dongshin University Collaboration
On July 9, 2025, Electric Power University (EPU) had the pleasure of hosting two representatives from Dongshin University (DSU) – Mr. Cho Yo Han and Ms. Hoang Thi Thanh Bang from the Institute of International Education.
During the meeting, the two sides engaged in open and productive discussions on implementing the previously signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Key areas of interest included student exchange programs, international joint training, scholarship opportunities, and research cooperation, particularly in energy, engineering, and technology.
EPU also invited DSU to participate in the EEE.AM2025 International Conference on Environment and Electrical Engineering - Asia, to be held in November 2025. The conference is expected to bring together leading researchers, experts, and enterprises from around the world.
