Don't fall into darkness. Life's no good in there. Stay in the light and live in the light.

People need to be encouraged. People need to be reminded of how wonderful they are. People need to be believed in - told that they are brave and smart and capable of accomplishing all the dreams they dream, and more. Remind each other of this.

It's okay if you don't know what to feel, if you don't know what you want, and if you can’t figure things out as you go.
It's okay to not want something you worked so hard on getting --- after realizing it wasn't what you thought it was. It's okay to change your mind, to make mistakes. To walk away from someone you once loved--- from something that once meant the world to you.
It's okay because this is your life, your cause, your beliefs, your mind, your heart, and your feelings.
You don't need validation from no one, other than you.
And I hope it doesn't take you a lifetime to realize that.

These are the words of Fernando Pessoa. I marvel at how the words of someone dead could precisely embody what I am right now—it has always been like this honestly. I’m going to quit writing—I am a coward. I tried reaching, every day, into myself and found absolutely nothing. No ambition, no drive, no love—nothing.

We met at the wrong time. That’s what I keep telling myself anyway. Maybe one day years from now, we’ll meet in a coffee shop in a far away city somewhere and we could give it another shot.
