"AS A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER, LEARN TO SAY NO MANY TIMES OVER"
This guy opened a store and all his friends, family and neighbors bought there and asked for credit.
Few years later, this is all that's left. Sometimes we say yes when we should have said no.
You say yes thinking you're helping people but actually you're losing and giving your hard work and sacrifice, then everyone turns their back on you. Don't Always Say Yes...
Invest in your business and save, be smart, don't let everything be lost.
Copied.

USE THE SOCIAL MEDIA TO SHOWCASE YOUR SMALL BUSINESS.
You are selling provisions / garri/ cloths/ fruit's but your friends and followers on social media don't know. You practically refuse to advertising/showcase your business on social media. You have hidden your business from a large segment of your supposed customers. Start showcasing your small business on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter no body will kidnap you. Let people know you as James Benson that sells Garri. Carry the advert on your head. A day will come when a buyer can only remember you because of your adverts and buy from you.
Your small business shall grow 🪴🪴🪴🪴

I want to Begin with this..
WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO CREATE A BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP WITH TRADERS WHO YOU SHARE THE SAME FINANCIAL STRENGTH WITH.
Access to more Resources : Partnerships can provide access to resources that your business might not have on its own. This can include capital, expertise, technology, or even customer bases. This is very possible. This point can increase your profit so fast.
Shared Risk: When you partner with another business or entity, you often share both the financial and operational risks. This can reduce the burden on your business, especially in uncertain times. Try it.
Expanding Reach: Partnerships can help you reach a broader audience or market segment. By collaborating with others, you tap into their customer base, gaining exposure to potential new customers.
Complementary Skills: Partnerships allow you to leverage the skills and strengths of others. You can partner with entities that have expertise in areas where you may lack skills, such as marketing, technology, or distribution.
Cost Savings: Collaborating with others can lead to cost savings. Joint ventures or partnerships may allow you to share overhead costs, negotiate better deals with suppliers, or pool resources for marketing campaigns.
Innovation: Partnerships can foster innovation. Different organizations bring diverse perspectives, leading to creative solutions and new product/service ideas.
Competitive Advantage: Building strategic partnerships can give your business a competitive edge. You can team up with others to offer unique packages or services that competitors can't match.
Market Validation: Partnering with established organizations can validate your business in the eyes of customers, investors, and other stakeholders. It builds trust and credibility.
Learning Opportunities: Collaborating with partners provides opportunities for learning and personal growth. You can gain insights from experienced partners, learning from their successes and failures.
Long-Term Growth: Partnerships can be instrumental in achieving long-term growth and scalability. By aligning with the right partners, you can expand your business faster and more efficiently.

A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER SHOULD MONITOR HIS COMPETITORS.
Competition is central in all business practices except when there is a monopoly. It is the contest between several shops selling similar goods or services. You have to monitor your competitors. Find out the strategy used by your closest competitor and modify your own. If you don't always try to find out and modify your own strategy, you might be thrown out of the business soon.

MY MENTOR
Nigerian entrepreneur and investor Tony Elumelu owns a controlling interest in Transcorp, a publicly traded Nigerian conglomerate with interests in hospitality, agriculture, oil production and power generation. He came into the limelight in 1997 when he led a small group of investors to take over a small, floundering commercial bank in Lagos. He turned it profitable within a few years and in 2005 he merged it with the United Bank for Africa. That banking group now has subsidiaries in 20 African countries and in the U.S and U.K. Elumelu also owns extensive real estate across Nigeria and a minority stake in mobile telecom firm MTN Nigeria, among other assets. He is currently the smartest Nigerian Entrepreneur and investor. He has a great chance of toppling Aliko Dangote as the African Richest man before 2030. Am learning from him. You can learn from him also.
