DAY 3 OF LADAKH HUNGER STRIKE
Ladakhi soldiers & even civilians have sacrificed their lives in all the wars fought here to defend the country and yet today they are being let down by government to defend some companies who are taking all prime pasturelands in this fragile ecology.
For this we need 6th Schedule & Statehood so that all such decisions are not left to one LG.

Today on 2nd Day of our anshan we rember fondly the challenges we faced on the 10th day of our Padyatra one year ago.


LADAKH ANSHAN

One year after Leh- Delhi March talks fail miserably again. Today after a huge inter faith prayer meeting at the Martyrs Park in Leh 15 people started a five week fast. 7 out of them are former soldiers of Indian Army & women. More later. Stay tuned!

DELHI-CHALO PADYATRA
Exactly one year ago today, marching from Leh to New Delhi crossing some of the most difficult terrains on the planet... to take the voice of voiceless of Ladakh & the Himalayas to the national capital of the world's largest democracy...
to safeguard our fragile nature & culture (under the 6th schedule of constitution).

We still remain hopeful that our sufferings will not be wasted & mother India will listen to us sooner rather than later.

HERE'S MY PADMASHRI & BHARAT RATNA Ever since I started speaking about the vast pasturelands in Ladakh being given to power companies without any local consultations... and generally about the safeguards of in Ladakh under 6th Schedule for cultural & environmental safeguards, I have been getting many gifts... The latest one is about cancellation of HIAL's land lease & removal of buildings...

KYA LADAKH SAFE HAI ?
Ladakh is a separate UT and very remote from recent incidents in Kashmir. However ill-informed people are cancelling their visits resulting in huge wastage for homestays, guest houses & hotels who depend on these visitors...
