fence rider 字面上指坐在柵欄上的人，想辦法討好兩邊的人。

最近很多人愛吃「薑母鴨」，你也是嗎? 薑母鴨的英文怎麼說? 答案就是......... ginger duck

由於薑母鴨通常是燉在湯裡，你也可說 ginger duck stew 或 ginger duck soup，或更詳細的說 ginger duck with rice wine

由於美國沒有薑母鴨，你就得用白話翻譯囉!

当你想找话题来聊聊天，【天气】是常常用来发挥。在英语会话里也是一样喔!
1. What's the weather there? = 那边天气如何？
2. Beautiful day, isn't it? = 天气真好
Nice day, isn't it?
3. I hope this weather will last. = 希望好天气可以特续下去
I hope the weather will stay like this.
4. It'll clear up in the afternoon. = 下午天气就会好转
It'll be sunny in the afternoon.
5. Terrible weather, isn't it? = 天气很不好
Awful weather, isn't it?
Nasty weather, isn't it?
6. Is it going to rain today? = 今天会下雨吗？
-> It might. Take your umbrella. = 应该会，带着伞吧！
7. Let's check the weather forecast. = 看一下天气预报

当你打电话给某个人，如果他现时没办法接听电话，你可能会听到答录机的留话！
UEC今天介绍你一些英语留话：

1. 家里的电话：
You have reached 123-4567. I am unable to come to the phone right now. Please leave your message after the tone. I'll be get back yo you as soon as I can.
（这里是123-4567，我现在没办法马上接听电话，请在声响后留话，我会尽快回电话给你。）

2. 在办公室，首先要先报上自己的公司名称:
This is ABC Electric.
（这里是ABC电机。）
以下是超过上班时间时的电话答录：
Our office hours are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
Please call again during these hours.
（我们的营业时间是星期一到星期五，早上九点到下午五点，请在营业时间再来电。）

3. 在办公室里的个人语音信箱：
This is Mary Ford of XYZ Insurance. Please leave your name, number and message after the tone. Thank you.
（我是XYZ保险的玛莉福特，请在声响后留下你的大名，电话号码以及来电事项，谢谢。）

4. 打电话给外国人时，接的是对方的电话答录机，或许会令人有点紧张，不要急，一个字一个字清楚留下你的名字与事项，绿下简洁有力的留言：
Hello, Cathy. This is Kyle Miller. I'm calling you regarding the party on Saturday. Please call me back.
（哈啰，凯西。我是卡尔米勒。我想跟你说关于周六派对的事，请回电话给我。）

今天教你們「擤鼻涕」的英文怎麼說。答案就是 Blow one's nose.

今天带你去吃寿司 :<

因为健康饮吃风潮，喜欢吃寿司或生鱼片等日本料理的欧美人士越来越多。和老外一起到日本料理要注意些什么呢？

进到店里，用热毛巾 (hot towel) 擦擦手，问柜台里的厨师 (chef)：
1. Can we sit at the counter? （我们可以坐柜台的位子吗？）
2. What do you recommend today? （今天推销什么好料？）
-> We have very good fatty tuna. （我们有很肥美的鲔鱼。）

一开始吃生鱼片配酒，
1. Could we have some sashimi and cold sake to start? （先来一些生鱼片和冷日本酒。）
厨师会问：
2. What would you like for your sashimi? （你要哪种鱼做生鱼片？）
-> Whatever you recommend. （你推销的都好。）
【这么回答可以给对方好印象】

接着点握寿司，
1. I'd like yellowtail nigiri. （我想要鲭鱼握寿司。）
2. Could I have ark shell nigiri? （可以给我赤贝握寿司吗？）
点捲寿司时，
3. I'd like a cucumber roll. （我想要黄瓜捲。）
4. Fatty tuna with scallion in a hand-roll, please. （请给我鲔鱼葱手捲。）
如果老外不喜欢吃芥末，可以说：
Don't put wasabi in her sushi, pkease. （她的寿司请不要放芥末。）

【甜姜片】是 vinegared ginger，【汤】是 soup，餐后的【绿茶】是 green tea。
