I’m now working as a weightlifting and CrossFit coach at CrossFit Lotus, Da Nang. πŸ‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

There are 3 weightlifting classes a week that I will be second coaching. They are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm, and Saturdays at 10am.

These classes are a mix of men and women, so far they have been pretty female strong which is great to see πŸ’ͺ🏼 and they are suitable for beginner and experienced lifters.
I will also be coaching most of the CrossFit evening classes at 6pm and 7pm.

My obsession with a 15kg women's bar compared to the 20kg men's bar comes down to more than just the weight!

The women's bar is shorter than the men's bar and has a smaller diameter. This makes it easier for women to hold on to, and to whip overhead to perform the Sn**ch and Clean and Jerk.

It's so important to first learn the correct technique with a PVC pipe and then build confidence under an empty barbell before adding any weight to your bar.
