⚙️GEARS IN MOTION: BASIC MECHANICAL INTERNSHIP 2026 HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!⚙️
🚀The Basic Internship 2026 season for Mechanical Engineering (MEN) students from intake 2025 has officially begun.
🛠️The Basic Internship is a mandatory module in the study program of the Mechanical Engineering (MEN) program at Vietnamese-German University. The module is held annually at the end of 1st academic year of MEN students. The aim of the basic internship is to create opportunities for students to have a hands-on experience with 4 basic mechanical manufacturing techniques, which include: Turning, Milling, Welding, and Bench-Working.

🔋 Advancing Green Hydrogen Education at VGU 🌱
We are excited to share that on July 23, 2026, the Vietnamese-German University (VGU) officially received a Hydrogen Fuel Cells Research Kit valued at VND 516,870,512, generously funded by the German International Cooperation Organization (GIZ) under the Green Hydrogen Hub project.
This valuable equipment marks an important step in strengthening VGU's capacity for education, research, and the development of highly skilled human resources in the rapidly growing fields of clean energy and hydrogen technologies.
🚀 Coming this winter, the Mechanical Engineering Program will organize a hands-on training workshop for our students using this research kit. The workshop will provide participants with practical experience in hydrogen fuel cell technology and introduce them to cutting-edge research in sustainable energy systems.
📢 Mechanical Engineering students, particularly those specializing in Energy and Process Engineering, who are interested in conducting research or writing their bachelor's or master's theses in areas such as:
• Green hydrogen production and applications
• Green energy conversion technologies
