😁 Mọi từ trong tiếng Việt đều có thể đi cùng được với "chóa" 🐕
"Khôn như chóa" và cũng có thể là " Ngu như chóa" 😆
Còn ở tiếng Anh thì sao?? 😊
[Is DOG the most MISERABLE animal in Vietnam?]
In Vietnamese informal conversations, there’s a funny language phenomenon:
The phrase “như chó” (literally, “like a dog”) can be attached to almost any adjective to make the description MORE:
Exaggerated, Sarcastic, Dramatic, or even Insulting
The pattern is: Adjective + “như chó”
For example:
Khoẻ, yếu, xinh, xấu, đẹp trai, khôn, giỏi, to, bé, lười… + NHƯ CHÓ
It works pretty much like the English slang “a. f…”, which can be added after almost any adjective to make it much stronger or more exaggerated in an offensive way, such as:
Strong, weak, beautiful, ugly, handsome, smart, talented, big, small, lazy… + “a. f…”
No OTHER ANIMAL gets treated quite like this in Vietnam. :((
Poor dog!
P.S. When was the last time you said “…like a dog” in a conversation???
Chó = dog
Choá = a cuter, less harsh way of saying Chó 🐕
