The College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences’ Scholarly and Creative Arts Committee hosted an engaging event, themed "Chronicles of Becoming an Artist," on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. The panel showcased the talents and insights of distinguished guest artists, including Gyasi Clarke, Ama Dennis, Adrian Edwards, Dr. Elle Nielsen, and Geron Richards.

The College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) is honored to announce the winners of our Essay and Poetry Contests on Self-Determination and Constitutional Development. The Winners are:
1. FIRST PRIZE WINNER - Shugga D. Rosenbloom was the First Place Winner in both the Essay Contest and the Poetry Contest.
2. SECOND PRIZE WINNERS - Franchel Rodriquez was the Second Place Winner in the Essay Contest and Leyonna Ravariere was the Second Place Winner in the Poetry Contest
3. THIRD PRIZE WINNERS - Destinee Martin was the Third Place Winner in the Essay Contest and Ki-Ana Tonge was the Third Place Winner in the Poetry Contest.
