Graphic Design
Students will use artistic skills to develop websites, logos and other tools to help businesses market their products and services.

Classes needed for this program;
CSC108 - Desktop publishing
CSC??? - Graphic art (new course)
CSC206 - intermediate web page design

Computer Information System (CIS)
Students will develop a programme to generate specific data.
For example: The Genealogy Project was develop to collect family tree information using the computer.

Classes needed for this program;
CSC113 - Programming language 1
CSC203 - Programming language 1

Business Information System (BIS)
Students will used technology to help a particular business solve an IT problem

Classes needed for this program;
CSC214 - introduction to networking
CSC114 - database design and applications
CSC211 - Information systems

Did you know that the Computer Studies Programme has a new program starting next semester???

Yes they do.... The Computer Studies will be upgrading their programs in Spring 2014.

I would like to say a job well done to all of the participants of the Marketing Fair that was held yesterday afternoon in the Atrium. Everyone did an excellent job!!

Come out to the Marketing Fair tomorrow at the Atrium, Main Building at 2:30pm!!!

All are invited to the Studies Marketing Fair, where the Marketing class students would be displaying their projects and ideas of what they cave created, and what they have thought of to upgrade, improve, and advertise the Business and Computer Studies.

The Three areas of the Business and Computer Studies Department that the students have been working on are: Business, Hospitality, and Computer Studies Departments

So tomorrow is the big day!! All the hard work, headaches, and time put into getting everything together! Pray all goes well tomorrow!!

The Computer Studies Department have updated the Computer Studies Programme. So anyone who want to learn more about web designing, desktop programming etc., you can come to the HLSCC and sign up for this major, or you can just add additional classes in your completion of another major you might be doing.
