🐎💛 Sweet treats, sushi, social & sips… our Chargers’ Crew deserved every bit! 🍣🥂✨

We closed Teachers’ Week with full hearts and plenty of smiles! From thoughtful gifts from the Minister and the team at the Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports for the delicious sweet treats, our teachers felt the love. 💛

Our ✨final appreciation treat brought the 🐎crew together for 🍣🍱Sushi, Social & 🥤Sips; a chance to relax, laugh and enjoy each other’s company. And the finishing touch? New personalized cups with gift vouchers tucked inside! 🎁🤩

Behind every Charger’s progress is a teacher who keeps showing up, giving encouragement and helping our students charge towards excellence. Crew, we see you, we value you and we appreciate you! 🐎👏🏽

To all our sponsors, the Ministry team, our PTA and everyone who contributed, THANK YOU! Your generosity helped us celebrate the people who pour so much into our children every day. Every gift, treat and helping hand made a difference. 💐

🌟 Special thanks to our sponsors: Liberty Call, The Boys Gas Station, Bobby’s Marketplace, Riteway, Kelly’s Bar & Restaurant, Special Occasions, VI Motors & Nanny Cay Hotel

The week has ended, but our appreciation keeps charging on! 💛🤎💙

📚🐎 Readers, buddies AND royalty? Our Chargers had it all! 👑✨

More pages turned, more stories shared and more minds inspired! Our Reading is Fun Week welcomed readers from Green VI, our wonderful parents and community stakeholders, and royalty; 👑Mrs. Curve Globe Choice of the People 2026, Mrs. Shackema Baptiste-Henry! 💛👏🏽

Hold up✋🏼…. 🐎Our students are true 💪🏽LEADERS! They were around campus reading to classes and building literacy one book at a time! 📚

Our Chargers also teamed up for buddy reading, because a good book gets even better when you share it! 👫📖

This week was all about “📚Read More, Know More📚.” We read together, created stories together and listened as our guests brought stories to life. Every experience gave our students another reason to love reading! 🌟

Thank you to everyone who shared their time, voices and love of books with our Chargers. You helped us turn pages into possibilities! 🐎💛🤎💙

📚🐎 Our Chargers understood the assignment; let creativity tell the story! ✨

📚Reading Is Fun Week brought words, imagination, and student 🎙️voices together as we celebrated “Read More, Know More!” One of our featured 📚activities was “Pass the Story,” where each grade wrote a page to create one shared story. 🎬💛🤎💙

But hold on… there’s another chapter coming! 👀📖 Look out for our animated story, written by our very own students! A representative from each grade will read it during assembly on Monday, October 12. 🌟

Through activities like “Pass the Story,” we are building our very own local authors and encouraging our students to bring their stories to life. Stay tuned! 🐎👏🏽

🗳️🐎 THE BALLOTS WERE OUT, THE STATIONS WERE SET, AND OUR CHARGERS UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT! 🔥💛💙

SGA Election Day at ETPS? A WHOLE VIBE! From collecting ballots and stepping up to the voting stations to proudly showing off those “I VOTED” cards, our Chargers came through with BIG pride and even BIGGER purpose! 🙌🏾🗳️✨

The campaign speeches brought the confidence. Election Day brought the decisions! Our students cast their votes for President, Vice President and Treasurer—putting their voices into action and helping choose who will represent them! 👏🏾🔥

And those “I VOTED” photos?! Main-character energy, Charger edition! 📸🤩 Every card says: “I showed up. I made my choice. MY VOICE MATTERS!” 💪🏾

Beyond the excitement, this was a real opportunity to practise responsibility, respect different choices and experience democracy in action. We’re building leaders who can speak up, listen well and take part! 🌟

📣 CHARGER VOICES. CHARGER CHOICES. CHARGER PRIDE!🐎🐎

👀Look out for our 🗳️Election Day results on Monday 12th October 2026.

❤️🐎 RED WITH PRIDE. RED WITH PURPOSE!

Our 🐎Chargers showed up in red to rep the 🛡️❤️WARRIORS for Public Service Week and stand together for dyslexia awareness! 🔴🙌🏽

Why red for dyslexia? ❤️Red has often marked mistakes on 📚schoolwork. Going Red reclaims that colour as a symbol of strength, support and possibility; raising awareness and challenging stigma. ❤️

At 🐎🏫ETPS, we believe inclusion means every learner belongs, receives the support they need and has opportunities to shine. We believe every student with dyslexia can one day lead any room they enter. Their voices, ideas and talents deserve room to grow and we’re here to help them grow! 🌟

Charging Towards Excellence: Every Student. Every Day. Every Way.

☕🐎 A BREW FOR THE CREW…. BECAUSE OUR CHARGERS DESERVE A LATTE LOVE! 💛

Our teachers ❤️LOVE ☕️ , so for Teachers’ Week, we took that love on the road! 🚌✨ Our teachers and staff were treated to a coffee shop trip; including our custodians, who sometimes step in to help cover classes too. Every member of this crew makes a difference! 🙌🏽

A huge THANK YOU to Brew at Loose Mongoose Cafe' for the customized teacher cups and an October treat: our Chargers receive $1 off their orders for the entire month! ☕🎉

Thank you to Mr. Power, our amazing taxi driver, for making TWO trips to get our crew their brew☕️✨! And to our incredible PTA Executive Body for showing up and holding classes so our teachers could enjoy their surprise; you helped make this moment possible! 👏🏽💛

Cups full, hearts fuller. Chargers’ Crew, we appreciate YOU! 🐎✨

🎤🔥 IT’S TALKING SEASON AND OUR CHARGERS DELIVERED! 🐎💛🤎💙

Today’s SGA candidate speeches? An AMAZING showcase of student voice, confidence and leadership! Our candidates stepped up, spoke with purpose and showed us they are READY TO LEAD! 👏🏽🗳️

With President, Vice President and Treasurer up for grabs, the race is ON! 🏁 These well-spoken young leaders have ideas to share and the confidence to make their voices heard. 🎤

Chargers, let’s hear it for EVERY candidate brave enough to step forward! 🙌🏽 The children shall lead and judging by today, the future is looking BRIGHT! ✨

ELECTION 🗳️ is this Friday! Chargers will be exposed to the voting process in full form! Look 👀 out for our post and results!

We also want to give a big shout out 📣 to ⛪️Pastor Title who motivated our students, prepared for voting and campaigning. Our successful President, Vice President & Treasurer 🤩✨ wins a lunch sponsored by Pastor Title. 🥗🍜🍝

📚🐎 Special guests. Great stories. Curious Chargers!

Our parents and community stakeholders are bringing stories to life for Reading Is Fun Week! 💛 From listening closely to asking questions and discovering something new, our Chargers are embracing the theme: “Know More, Read More!” 📖✨

Our Grade 4 Chargers also enjoyed a special visit to the library, where they explored new books, discovered exciting stories and celebrated the joy of reading. 📚🏫 Public Library Service of the Virgin Islands

Kindergarten & Grade 1 took Reading Is Fun Week in a student-led direction by reading books to their own class. Our youngest Chargers shared stories, practiced their reading skills and celebrated the joy of reading together. 📚🐎

We were also graced with royalty 👸 as Ms. BVI; Asha Hymand read to some of our classes as a brand ambassador for CCT BVI 🧡🧡📚📚

Thank you to our guest readers for sharing your time and showing our students that reading connects us, sparks imagination and helps us grow. 👏🏽

👀 Hold on… the week isn’t finished yet! We’ve got more pages to turn and more reading fun coming your way! 🐎📚

🐎💛 BIG waves, sweet treats and major teacher appreciation at the Downs!🧑‍🏫👩‍🏫

Today, Grade 4️⃣ and Rev. Christmas Fraser kicked off our General Assembly with purpose, ✨spotlighting this month’s core values: discipline and obedience. 🙌🏽

Then it was time for our Teachers’ Day “Wave of Thanks!” 👋🏽✨ Students waved to the teachers who taught them another language, made them laugh, tied their shoes👟🥾 and reminded them to fix their school clothes😂. Every wave celebrated the everyday moments of care that make a BIG difference! 🥹💛

Our 🐎Chargers’ Crew also enjoyed 🧇“Breakfast for the Best,” complete with delicious donuts and cupcakes from our amazing school community. Talk about a sweet way to say, “We appreciate you!” 🧁🍩

And the celebration got even better! ✨Our new principal, Mrs. O’Neal-George, received CIBC’s Teacher Award and dedicated it to her entire 🐎Chargers’ Crew; honouring the incredible team whose care, commitment and heart help our students thrive. Major win! 🏆🐎

Teachers, you’re the real MVPs! We see you, we appreciate you and we’re waving BIG for you! Happy Teachers’ Day! 💛👋🏽
