God’s definition of love is not emotional; it is transformational. Scripture tells us, ‘𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕, 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒅… 𝒊𝒕 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒔.’ (1 Corinthians 13:4–7).

Biblical love is meant to be lived out daily. When love becomes our lifestyle, spiritual maturity usually follows, and Christ is reflected through us.

Start today to live God’s love daily. Be intentional in growing spiritually and reflect Christ consistently.

As we come to the end of another week, I want to remind you: 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮. 𝐇𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭, 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡, 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞—𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐧𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬.

Fridays are not just a closing of the week—they are a sacred invitation to pause, reflect, and realign. Before you rush into the weekend, take a moment to breathe and ask:

 Where have I seen God’s faithfulness this week?
 What do I need to release to receive what He has next?

Today, I encourage you to walk boldly in your identity in Christ, knowing that He who began a good work in you is faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6). 𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐠𝐨 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠. 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭. 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠.

𝐀𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞, we pause to lift a heart of deep gratitude to You. You have carried us through obstacles seen and unseen. You’ve sustained us in weariness and met us with grace in every moment. Thank You for the breath in our bodies, the peace in our souls, and the clarity of Your presence.

𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 that shaped us this week—for those that challenged us, refined us, and led us closer to Your will. We pray that as we enter the weekend and look toward the new week, You would heighten our spiritual senses. Open our eyes to see where You are moving. Help us not to dismiss divine opportunities because they look too small or come in unexpected packages.

𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐮𝐬, 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, so that we may be a vessel of Your glory, meeting people not by accident, but by Your divine arrangement. As we repair and maintain the altar of our lives, help us live each moment with holy expectation.

𝑱𝒆𝒉𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒉 𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒎𝒎𝒂𝒉, thank you for meeting us. Let next week be one of deeper encounters, clearer direction, and an overflowing sense of purpose. In Jesus’ precious name, 𝑨𝒎𝒆𝒏.

Beloved, we’ve made it through another week by God’s grace! As we pause to give thanks, let us also prepare our hearts for what’s ahead.

📖 Hebrews 13:2 – Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Every encounter matters. Every step is sacred when we walk in awareness and obedience.

𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐀𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝

1. 𝑶𝒃𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆: 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒘𝒂𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝑷𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓
Obedience isn't simply about rules; it is about relationship. When we obey, we honour God’s voice over our own desires. Jesus said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments" (John 14:15). This week, pause before making decisions—ask yourself, “Is this what God wants, or what I want?” Let obedience be your guiding compass.

2. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒔
Life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). What are you speaking into your week? Into your family? Over your mind? Saturate your life with faith-filled declarations. Speak His promises, and pray with boldness, knowing heaven responds to a praying heart. “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:16).

3. 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑬𝒏𝒗𝒊𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒆𝒔 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑬𝒏𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔
Just as a seed grows based on its soil, your spiritual growth is influenced by the environments you dwell in. Who are you listening to? What are you watching? Who has your ear and your time? Choose environments that honour God, sharpen your faith, and push you toward purpose. Encounters must be God-defined, not emotionally driven or circumstantially led.

4. 𝑹𝒆𝒃𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑹𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒊𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒍𝒕𝒂𝒓—𝑹𝑨𝑷𝑯𝑨
Have distractions, disappointments, or disobedience caused your altar to crumble? Then this is your call to repair it—to come back to your secret place, to cry out in repentance, to re-establish God’s ownership over your life. 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐞, “𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬, 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐢𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬. 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬.”

Let’s remain vigilant, prayerful, and purposeful.

𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬!

Last night’s 𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐀𝐖𝐄𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄!!! What a time we had with the New Testament Church of God – International Worship Center family. The presence of the Lord was so rich, the Word so clear, and the fellowship so uplifting.

At one point, a Sister even said, “Bishop should have a Bible school!”—and I loved his response:
“𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞.”

And truly, he was right. When the Word is rightly divided and willing hearts are present, 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭. So yes, Sis—we are in Bible school, right where God has planted us.

Now, in the midst of all the teaching and learning, something stirred in my spirit… something that made my “itching ear” perk up with curiosity: the tallit—the traditional Jewish prayer shawl. (To be delved into at the Holy Spirit’s timing in our "Bible School," of course!)
🛑 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐑: I am not knocking anyone for their use of the tallit.
We must always know why we do what we do—and more importantly, ensure that we are being 𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭. Good? Good! Now that we’ve settled that, here we go!

For years, one of my sisters has encouraged me to get a tallit—even offering to purchase one for me. But I just never felt a release in my spirit to move forward. It wasn’t that I wasn’t interested—it’s just that I’ve always believed that 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫. And, let’s be honest—it seems to be the "in thing" to do these days.

But if you know me, you know that I 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 and 𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩 into research. So, with curious ears leading and a heart ready to understand, I finally set out to learn more about the tallit. (Yes—after all this time!)

𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰? | 𝐔𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐭

𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 that the tallit, the Jewish prayer shawl, is more than just a garment? It’s a biblical symbol of covenant, holiness, and obedience, worn by Jewish men to fulfill the command in Numbers 15:38. At each of its four corners are tassels—tzitzit—which serve as a physical reminder to keep God’s commandments.

𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 that when the woman with the issue of blood touched the “hem” of Jesus’ garment (Matthew 9:20), she likely reached for these very tassels, believing in the healing power connected to His authority as Messiah?

𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 that while Christians are not required to wear the tallit, some believers choose to use it as a meaningful symbol during prayer—not for legalistic reasons, but as a way of honouring the spiritual heritage of our faith?

In truth, the heart of the matter is not the cloth we wear, but the clothing of righteousness in Christ. Romans 13:14 exhorts us to “put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.” That is the most powerful garment we could ever wear.

𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐧,
As we step into today, let us remember Monday’s surrender. Every day is a fresh opportunity to tend the spiritual altar of our hearts- to realign, repent, and re-surrender. The act of repairing the altar is not a one-time task—it is a daily decision to remain in God's presence, stay repentant, and walk obediently in His will.

As we continue to move through this week, by God’s grace and will, do not lose the sacred rhythm of daily consecration.

𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:

1 𝐾𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑠 18:30 (𝐾𝐽𝑉):"And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down."

The Hebrew-Greek word for "repaired" here is "𝐑𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐚," which also means 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥, 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞, 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞. As Elijah repaired the broken altar, he made a declaration—this place belongs to God. Today, I challenge you to 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥, 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞, 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞This is not just about rebuilding something physical; it's about 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 before the Lord. Your altar—your place of communion with God—must be whole, consecrated, and intentional.

Our lives are the altars now. Our obedience is the offering. Let us come before Him anew today and reaffirm His ownership of every area of our lives. Join me in a prayer of surrender and aligning today:

𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝑭𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓,
Today, I return to the sacred place—my altar of surrender. I bring myself as a living sacrifice, desiring to be holy and acceptable in Your sight. Cleanse me of anything that would cause my heart to waver or my steps to falter.

Lord, I acknowledge that You are not looking for perfection, but for a willingness to serve. I give You my thoughts, my plans, my words, and even my worries. Teach me to walk circumspectly, to honour Your name in my actions, and to speak life over every situation.

Let Your presence mark this day. Let my environment be fertile ground for Your voice to speak clearly. I declare that today’s encounters shall be God-defined, and every opportunity will be met with grace, wisdom, and discernment.

And Father, thank You for reminding me that Rapha—Your healing and restoring power—is at work in my altar. Continue to refine me, reset me, and renew me for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, 𝑨𝒎𝒆𝒏.
