The Caribbean Arts and Crafts Festival is the flagship annual event of the Caribbean Artisan Network (CAN).

CAN is a Non-Profit Organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Caribbean Arts and Crafts (you can find out more at www.caribbeanartisan.net). The network creates and builds links between artisans across the entire Caribbean. In so doing it helps to strengthen the production of traditional and innovative Caribbean Crafts. The network's activities include:

SAVE THE DATES! The 2014 Caribbean Arts and Crafts Festival will be held in the BVI from March 8th to 12th 2014!

Retail Manager required @ Aragorn's Studio: art gallery and craft center in the British Virgin Islands.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes: reliability, hard working, good interpersonal skills, fluency in English and favorably a second language.
The applicant must be aged 28 plus with 5 years of Retail experience with Point of Sale, QuickBooks and Microsoft Office – as well as good understanding of Business Development principles, Marketing Projects and Social Media Strategies.
The applicant must have a driving license.
We are looking for someone with positive appreciation and feeling for the Arts, interested in cultural exchange amongst our working network with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Daily planning, organization and great customer service skills will complete the requirements.
BVI islanders are preferred.

5 Days Stone Carving Workshop @ Aragorn's Studio Nov 3rd - 7th, 2012 Tortola - British Virgin Islands.
American artist visiting the BVI will lead the workshop: daytime in the week-end and evenings during the week.
